      That’s just how the army is. Everyone hates their job. Infantrymen hate their job. Tankers hate their job. Military police hate their job. Engineers do. Join to do what you want, not what others are telling you to do. If you like office work, pick an admin job. If you like blowing stuff up, pick engineer. If you like being the janitor who is also trained to kill, pick infantry. If you like being in a hot hunk of metal for 8 hours with 3 other guys, pick tanker. They all have their own rewards

    Hey man good video 👍 do you know how to set the 1RM figures on this programme? At the start I assume you would put in your latest 1RM, but as you progress through the programme I assume you'd get stronger, and also you're target 1RM at the end of the programme would be higher than the initial. I guess I question is when and how are you supposed to update the 1RM figures in the sheet?

    Hey im about to leave to fort leanerwood during the summer for combat engineer any tips or reviews on how this mos is for basic camp,deployment,and after you get out ?

    • @marklangley386
      @marklangley386 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's been 14 years since I did OSUT at Leonardwood. I don't have a clue what it's like now, but assume the weather is still spastic and shitty. Deployments depend on the unit you're in. Some of them are arduous and fun, some are tedious and shitty. There's really not many civilian job skills you get from this job that you wouldn't get from an MOS like infantry. I don't know a single person that used their 12B specific job experience and crosswalked it to any nearly similar civilian counterpart. Chances are you'll be alright regardless

    • @eargonzalez2000
      @eargonzalez2000 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mark Langley yea i always wanted to go to the army to do things i couldt do as a civilian plus if i was going to learn a job i could do it without the military. Plus i heard that the things you learn while in the army can help you out in any situation outside of it.

      Better than Benning I’ll tell you that. Benning sucks, hard. Even 30th AG reception made people want to kill themselves. Jackson is the best place to go as far as quality of life goes but you also won’t get in depth combat training because Jackson doesn’t train combat MOS
