The University of Memphis College of Education
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 25 ก.พ. 2020
Since its inception in 1912 as West Tennessee State Normal School, the University of Memphis has evolved significantly, and at the heart of its educational mission has always been the College of Education. Today, our college proudly houses three dynamic departments where students specialize in teaching, counseling, research, leadership, administration, design, and more.
Sydney Digby and Yorubah Banks (Riverdale K-8)
Sydney Digby ('24) and Yorubah Banks ('16) may have arrived at the University of Memphis at different times, but their shared passion for education and dance brought them together in an unexpected way. Both drawn to Memphis from out of town to earn their education degrees, they first found common ground as members of the UofM Pom Squad. Years later, fate (and a love for teaching) reunited them once again-this time, just a few doors apart at Riverdale K-8 in the Germantown Municipal School District (GMSD). What started as a connection on the dance floor has transformed into a lasting sisterhood in the classroom.

I watched your video in its entirety. What helped me the most with this video was the Constructive Response. 1:06:40 I am struggling in this area but in this video, it was broken down. I liked how you highlighted in different colors so I could see how I needed to write each task and target each prompt accurately. ☺ My test is this Tuesday.
Thank you so much for the Encouragement Encouragement 🙏🏾
Thank you Dr. Johnson. This information was very helpful!

Thank you so much for this.
The little lecture about gender at minute 45:00 was unnecessary. I am disappointed that you, as a professor, are buying into the new so-called "values" that defy science, nature, and common sense.
Her students will always learn more in her class then yours students will learn in yours. She is offering a safe class where you have hostile thoughts on what THOUSANDS and thousands of people are feeling. Not all of those people are wrong, and there is more to learn about how the brain works that we haven’t learned. This is also hard on students, your job is not to judge, but teach in a safe place for all students!
Please don't ever stop making videos like these! 😅🙏🏽
More of these please! Longer videos like 3 hours 😅🙏🏽
Thank you. This was very helpful and great information to help with studying.👍
You are explaining the why of the questions.
How is the Praxis 5354 Special Education test similar/different than this test?

You're welcome. Do well!
Can someone explain how having free or reduced breakfast and lunches will affect a child's educational experiences negatively? I thought that was the only positive thing up there. LOL!
The question was, which answer does NOT affect the student's academic performance negatively. The other three answers have potential to negatively impact the student's academic performance, while you are right, free or reduced lunches would be a positive.
Unfortunately, some children are criticized by others because of their socioeconomic status. This stigma is not as great lately because many school systems are providing free breakfast and lunch for all students.
