But the question is, is the real thing worth a few thousand dollars more than a kislux fake? To me, given the lack of lustre quality of modern luxury goods, it really isn't.

The empire is fairly slouchy, I have it in a few sizes and the bigger (40+) the more slouchy. The Jacquemus is next on my list. If you want super slouchy go with the St. Laurent Y bag.

I gave my mother a bag kislux on the festival day. She liked it very much. It is easy to carry and not easily scratched. My mother often carries it when she goes out on rainy days. But it still looks new. I will consider buying another one next time I have the chance.

Is the bag heavy?

I currently have 1 Telfar medium tote in Azalea that I purchased because I adore the color but dislike the material it’s made out of as I really love genuine leather bags. I’ve been debating about this one but because it is substantially more and I won’t be able to return it if I purchase on the Telfar site, I’ve been waiting in some reviews. You've been right all along-- Loewe is really starting to catch my attention now. These unusual cuts are REALLY doing it for me, especially seeing them in RTW. I actually love the shortness of everything because of how high the flare-outs start on those cropped pieces (at the smallest point below the bust). Just... really flattering tbh. And as a person with a non-model body, it can be hard to play with silhouette, but these just DO IT for me, idk!!! They're girly and exaggerated and I'm digging it (that feather t-shirt is everything).

In general, I love Simone Rocha and she can do almost no wrong for me. She has a way of working with volume and proportion that is so flattering to me, like you'd feel like some sort of princess waif draped in pieces of your fancy clothes, caught mid-dress or something. Overall, I thought her story here was weaker than what she presented at Gaultier HC earlier this year and I can kind of see the shift some something a little more commercial... but by and large, I liked this a lot! (TBF, that Gaultier show was a MASTERPIECE and I could talk about it all day.) Stray thoughts-- cargo bloomers for men? Hell yea, Simone. Less enthused about the denim, it just doesn't feel right for her. She has a knack for bringing sporty pieces into her world, but these were too structured and bedazzled to fit her usual airy/light vibe. You nailed it with the unitard reference and I agree it looks much better under the coat. Glad she showed it separately first, though, because I feel like the ruffled uni is sort of.... idk, maybe a keystone for her inspiration for this collection? Good video 10/10

Welcome back! The parachute pants would be really good with the woven dresses. There's nothing else that really excites me about this collection, the "melted vinyl" hems are kind of... feels like something that was a fresh take in the 60's. I'm surprised to see such a mild vision, this is usually a brand that brings a lot of fun to the runway. This feels like they're trying to get very commercial and those prints are... I'm wrinkling my nose. I love watching these, this is a great series!
