What kind of exhaust do you have ?
sorry for the late response. I have the original exhaust on it. I just removed the resonator. I did a full video on this on my channel.
Did you swap the engine?
No, it still has the original engine.
What happened to the ‘11 RRS?!!!
Still driving it. The Range Rover is my daily driver, and I avrage about 1500 miles a month. More to come on the range rover soon. 5 1/2 year mark updated soon.
@@izzyo2575 That’s encouraging! I have an ‘11 RRS-SC too. Except mines laid up with time chain/tensioner woes. I look forward to the 5.5 update.
The timing chain issues scared me when I bought mine but I called the landcover that did most of the maintenance on it before I bought it and they conformed they were changed and updated around the 80K mile mark. I just hit the 160K mark and still running strong.@@davelr3x474

Sounds mean and aggressive! Love the sound to it man & nice Range Rover 🤙🏼
thanks!!! I've had this range rover 5 years now. I think its time for me to sell it now. I've driven it over 50k miles since I've had it and so far been pretty much reliable!
Wow that’s awesome man! I’m honestly pretty curious; When you removed the Resonator, Did your Range Rover ever give you any problems like a ‘Restricted Performance’ fault? I have a 2012 rrs hse lux and I’m definitely looking into removing my resonator but just curious of an opinion 😁
How much it runs in 1liter of petrol (automatic)
Im miles I get about 18 per gal.
Hello..whitch tires do you have? The rim
It has 285/40r22 and the wheels I don't know the brand. I bought them used from someone on Facebook.
I would like to get your opinion ive have always wanted a Range Rover I found a 2011 Range Rover Sport 5.0 V8 non supercharger would you recommend it?
I would definitely go for it since its not a super charged. The one thing I recommend is making sure it has a good service history. Also even better bonus if the timing chain guides have been done. if they haven't that engine is a ticking time bomb. The 5.0 engine is known for the variator and timing guide issues. I went with a high mileage range rover becuse most of the issues happen before the 100k mile mark. My chain guides were done at 90k miles and before I bought it. Hope this information helps you make a good decision 👍
@@izzyo2575 thank you so much yeah I found a black similar to yours it was a HSE and it has 121k miles and it looks to be in good shape I just wanted feed back from someone who have owned one before I’ve always like Range rovers and wanted one I’ve just heard people say they have bad reliability sounds like you have had good luck with urs tho.
That's not a problem at all, a lot of cars have this issue. There's batteries inside the tires that go out eventually.
They all came back to life now 😁
@@izzyo96 Imagine EV cars in our winter after the warranty is over. Bunch of tire sensors is all they are.
🤣 I think you're on to something here🤣
I own this same rover. it does that with a large temp change outside. It will go off In a day or so. from wa as well!
Its been there for 3 weeks now. I tested all the sensors and they are all good. Ill give it another week😁
Is it petrol or diesel??
Its petrol.
Electric
Diesel electric, like submarines but smaller scale.
Thank for that review bro. Picking up a Gem next week. Same one like you have. With 49330 miles on it.
Nice!! Enjoy it! They are very fun suv's
Hi! Did your vehicle show you a restricted performance message right after the delete? If yes .How you solve it?
Mine did not. But it did come up a year later but it was because it was 18 degrees fahrenheit outside and I left it out of the garage overnight so when I went to start it up it through a cam code because the oil was so think and it went away after it warmed up. Been months and never came back. Sorry didn't go away i cleared it and it never came back😊
@@izzyo96 thanks!
This still beter than BMW or Mercedes anyway.
My thoughts exactly 💯
How many miles on it and any other issues?
Range rover has about 138,000 miles on it now and have had no issues since the last repair was done. Ill keep posting as things happen to it but for the most part all has been preventive maintenance except the plastic part that goes from the water pump under the intake manifold that was leaking antifreeze everywhere that I though it was the water pump but wasn't.
front lower control arms
yep! they were pretty worn out and made my range rover shake at high speeds. Got the new ones July of 2019 on Amazon for about $120.00 and they have been working out great with no issues. I've put about 20k miles on car since.
@@izzyo2575 i had my 2013 sport 110000km replaced 3 mths ago but the wheel alignment has a bit problem since. had done 3 alignments and are still chewing both front tyres (outside).
@@metromotel that was happening to mine too then I found out they were doing the alignment when it was on access mode that would cause it to eat up the outside of the tire when it goes back to normal hight. It makes the toes point in .
@@izzyo96 i specifically asked the mechanic who replaced the control arms to tighten the bolts at last when the car is on the ground or normal height but i doubted he did so. at the moment outside of both front tyres (bought new just before xmas) are like wave shapes. what is your recommendation? i dont mind to pay for alignment again but what should i tell the mechanic?
the person who replaced the arms did 2 x alignments and i went to another guy with 35 years old alignment experience about 2 weeks ago. he did a lot of vintage cars so i trust that he is one of the best around. he put the rear tyres to the front after alignment and asked me to keep an eye on them. both the outsides are still chewing up a bit. what should i tell him if i bring the car back?
What size are your wheels and tires?
Wheels 22" tires 285/40 R22
what warranty did you have? i think carmax covers all that?
I go the Platinum DriveTrain package from ASC Warranty.
thanks for the update, did you replace suspensions and airbags cause there were issues or just wanted to refresh it? i’m getting the 2013 RRS supercharged 50k miles
Ride was very bouncy and becoming ver hard to drive. It felt like it was going out of control at high speeds. Now it drives very nice and smooth.
Delete it and replace it with wat?
I just had them weld pipes in its place.
@@izzyo96 thanks, at exhaust shop right now!
5.0 did timing chain guide replaced?
They were replaced at around 85k miles.
@@izzyo2575 how much does it cost to replace it
@@rajvirsanny8592 I don't know. The guides were done before i bought the Range Rover.
Those things are tanks man as long as you stay on top of the maintenance your good. They also share parts with the Toyota Land Cruiser.
Good to know about the land cruiser parts. Thanks!!
what? what parts exactly? I've Never heard anyone make that claim.... like a partnership btwn Toyota and Land Rover??
Very nice my dream car is a Range Rover sport just like this I think they are super nice lookin vehicles!
Exhaust sounds good. did you have it opened up?
Yes, I had the resonator removed. I have a video on it on my channel and it shows which one I had removed.
Mass sensor meaning air flow sensor?
Its not the MAS mass air flow sencor its the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor (MAP) that i replaced. www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts/DC/96001-05107222.html?DN&PartsGeek+Google+Base&+Land+Rover+Range+Rover+Sport+MAP+Sensor+Genuine+10-16+Land+Rover+MAP+Sensor+2015&gclid=CjwKCAiArOqOBhBmEiwAsgeLmTVhWuX74thn4t2cFoOEnTYld9EJjKJYz_7x7ZUPgombcEnjVaz-8BoCdj4QAvD_BwE
You know that range rover has a 1/18 scale diecast model from bburago? Its just 39.99 and i have it
Is it a diesel?
No, its regular gas.
no diesel in the land of freedom.
Endless moneypits.
Kind of true🤣
you're right the plastic parts are there so they fail after a certain amount of miles. In the uk the companies there make 3rd party parts that are stronger. Don't think they do it here. I saw on the internet.
Why are these car companies still using plastic??? (We know why) our government should regulate these car companies.
RIGHT!! I remember the days when brake line were metal and now they are rubber... why?? 🤣🤣 I know why!
Where could you recommend to get the dash repaired, mine has started to peel up.
Haven't had that problem yet. Hard to say.
What about the sound inside the vehicle while driving?Does it annoy you ?
Inside you can only here the diffrence from stock when you floor it and it goes above 4000 RPM. So the answer is it doesn't annoy me at all😁 hope this helps.
@@izzyo96 thanks matr, definitely mine will be done as well))
I decated my two main cats, left small ones. And now i plan to delete main muffler..wont my neighbours hate ne?))
let me know what you think about the sound. I was too chicken to delete the muffler 😁
Which engine is it pal?
I have the 5.0L naturally aspirated V8
How’s gas ? Is it a lot?
I only get about 235 miles on a tank. I think I average about 12 to 13 mpg. Not great but not that bad ether.
@@izzyo2575 oh okay 👍🏻 not bad! It’s a V8?
Yes 5.0L v8
How many miles do you have on yours now. I’m about to buy the same one as you. 2011 sport with 104k miles
Mine has 134000 miles on it now and still running strong. Just did all 4 corners suspension because it was starting to get very bouncy and uncontrollable on the freeway. All good now.
I am going to buy RR 2012 supercharged with only 60km on it what should i check before I buy it and and some information about timing chain also
Pretty low mileage. Not much to worry about at this point. Being that it is a super charged engine I would definitely think about getting the timing chain and guides changed around 60k mile or 96km.
@@izzyo2575 how will I know that its time to have new timing chain
Hard to say. It's pretty much a ticking time bomb. Mine was done at around 84k miles and it was done before I bought it.
Hilarious 😂😆😂. I want a L322 so bad
Sounds great… Does it decrease fuel efficiency at all?
I lost about 2 miles per gallon. Not too bad 😁
@@izzyo2575 oops i thought we will gain efficiency after the delete but i could be wrong. i am too chicken to do it as 2 different mechanics told me not to do it. they said i wont see any significant fuel saving and it may or may not confuse the os2 sensors.
That happens to me 3 month ago. Thought was the water pump, changed the water pump. Later found out it’s that Y pipe.
I think those parts should be aluminum or some other metal 🤔 just a thought.
@@izzyo2575 I'm surprise no one made one with metal or Aluminum. Maybe it will overheat?🤷♂️
Sometimes I feel they do this so you have to take it to the shop for service. Cars these days are too reliable and they need things to break at some point so they can make money off of serving them. Then they charge an arm and a leg to fix something simple but hard to get to. The labor is what really gets people these days.
@@izzyo2575 true. For me, had to get another water pump cause the Y pipe screwed up the one I had it done 2 weeks before. Total with labor over $1200. Now, I want to get another spare key fob, $1000....$1000 for a Key!!!wtf
my uncle is selling me his 2012 autobiography supercharged for 10k because he literally doesnt even use it, it has 150k miles. perfect service record. I am just trying my best to prepare myself for the future of the vehicle. you gained a sub!
Cost ?
Ended up costing $1800 that included sparkplug change too.
Thank you brother 🙏❤❤
I'm about to do this tomorrow
You won't regret it!!! I still love how aggressive it sounds😬
ok u seem like a kool dude an i dont know if u still have your range or not... old post but heres a few tips.. use K&N air filters that engine needs more air flow .. more air flo = more power!! dude get rid of that middle muffler if ya can dont no what your laws are there but.. thats a huge restriction the stock exaust oil, now if u are still runing 5w 20 in there NOOOOOOOO!! 15w40 triax oils amazon only or 5w 50!! triax! the best stuff out there. trust me dude u dont ever want timing chain chatter u want those guides to glide on sheer!! gas premium with a slight mix of e85 will clean everything up a bit those injectors are kool run a good injector cleaner thu there. apply for a gas card lol.... u will thank me for it. keep your positive cash flo.
Hi love your RR sport, love that drive it’s so high up ! I had a 2012 white with almond interior I think the dealer was shady it made a weird dinging sound on regular turns and randomly and turned into a emergency brake system issue… then coolant forget about it they changed the coolant system a few times and couldn’t fix it so I got rid of the car after about a year. Again I think the dealer was shady or it wasn’t taken well care of prior or both but it was such a shame it was an HSE. I’m in the market to buy a $20,000 car and I’m looking at the 2011 super charged any advice on maintenance issues I’ve heard good things about supercharged even though I know when your video you mentioned a timing belt issue but you said you had to do that for yours anyway?
Sorry to hear about your bad experience with the range rover. If you get the Supercharged range rover make sure the timing chain tentioners have been changed out befor you buy one. If the tentioners go out you will most likely have to replace the engine and that is anywhere between 8000 to 12 grand for an engine. But other then that my Rover has been very reliable and I really haven't had any major issues. Good luck and get one with lots of maintenance records😊
Same thing happened with my 2012, they replaced everything, even the cooling system clamps, they said they found Non OEM clamps, which is kind of funny because that means it wasnt the first time the entire cooling system has been replaced. In my one year ownership I slowly racked up $6,000+ at the dealership in the blink of an eye. Cooling, fuel injector, computer, etc... ugh :( shes gone, but it wont be my last. I was able to sell it to Ford while it was in a shop broken on a lift for $10,000 even in an undriveable state. That was in October 2021, it still sits for sale, check engine light on, in Indianapolis for $16,000 6 months later
wich engine is it ? I heard the v8 have a lots of issues
Jaguar 5.0 v8. The biggest issues with these engines are the Timing chain guides and thankfully they were upgraded before I got it.
Sounds aggressive! Are you going to delete the rears as well?
I might eventually go 3" pipe from the cats back to make it even louder!
What set of wheels are those? Looks really nice

I just painted the center caps black with satin black
And the tires are 285/40r22
Thanks, man!! I just got mine today. 100k mileage. 2006 RRS HSE. First drive today was wonderful.needing a few cosmetic touches but I feel really good about this. My fav shape.

I absolutely LOVEEEE the Sport
I had the full size one before the sport and I really enjoy the driving this one more 🙂 this will probably be the last year I drive this one. Will see what I get next.
What engine is?
It's the naturally aspirated jaguar 5.0 V8
