Why did God turn King Nebuchadnezzar INTO AN ANIMAL? (Babylonian Empire)
Why did God turn King Nebuchadnezzar INTO AN ANIMAL? (Babylonian Empire)
The story of King Nebuchadnezzar II, a great king of the Babylonian Empire, who was turned into an animal by God.
Nebuchadnezzar II was not only one of the most powerful kings of ancient times, but he was also famous for his great achievements in building the city of Babylon and conquering surrounding countries.
Under his reign, Babylon became a powerful and formidable empire throughout Mesopotamia.
But despite his supreme power and unimaginable wealth, there was one event in Nebuchadnezzar's life that posterity could not forget:
That was the moment God turned him into a four-legged, grass-eating, hooved animal.
So the question for today is: Why did a powerful king like Nebuchadnezzar suffer such terrible punishment from God?
Was this the result of arrogance and abuse of power?
Or is there a deeper meaning behind the prophecy?
The answer may make you think about the connection between power, humility, and faith in the Bible.

      Indeed, strength comes in many forms, and humility, patience, and forgiveness can all be expressions of a strong heart. In the Bible, we see many people who demonstrated strength in different ways. Jesus, with his unconditional love and sacrifice, is a prime example of true strength. He taught us that true strength lies in serving and loving others. May God bless you with the wisdom and discernment to recognize true strength in your life, and to always find strength in His love and grace.

    Honestly what I find interesting so far that I heard no one write/talk before about, is the fact that Lilith left the Garden of Eden as she was. She has never ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil as Eve and Adam did. So that must mean something, that she has other perceptions of what good and evil mean, I'm guessing. I did even read somewhere some speculation,as it mentions in the this vid, that it was not Lucifer that came as a snake but Lilith in revenge of Adam or something as that. Anyway, I just find it really interesting that she has not ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil , but neither from the tree of immortality.

    Wait just one minute please I mean if and only if Moses wfe was as pale skin in as in your depicted video Moses himself broke one of the commandments to God by taking a Caanite woman for his 2nd wife in which Aaron and Miriam were upset about because the Isreal men were prohibited from marriage of outside the nation of their fathers? OR was his 1st wife the same color as his 2nd wife?

    • @BibleStories868
      @BibleStories868 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      First, it should be made clear that the Bible does not describe Moses’ wife’s skin color in detail. Zipporah, Moses’ first wife, was a Midianite, a people who lived near Egypt and were likely darker-skinned than the Israelites. The Bible also mentions a Cushite wife of Moses, and Cush is generally understood to be the land of Nubia south of Egypt, where the people were dark-skinned. Whether Moses violated the commandment by marrying a Canaanite requires consideration of the historical and cultural context. In Moses’ time, intermarriage with foreigners was not strictly forbidden. The commandment against intermarriage with Canaanites was issued later, during the settlement of Canaan, to prevent cultural and religious mixing. However, Aaron and Miriam’s criticism of Moses for his Cushite wife may have been related to concerns about her influence on Moses’ leadership or the purity of the Israelite lineage.

    • @jimmirexhaggins
      @jimmirexhaggins 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @BibleStories868 You made my point comparison to the thumbnail to the video in question if and only if Moses 1st wife was more darker colored than what's in the video.(I'm not a racist person I'm more a person that wants a more accurate depiction of what the scripture depicted) Then if what you say is correct then what was Moses color for him to pick 2 women for wives ? Because if the Kushite woman was dark and as you say Zaporhia was dark then How in the hell the people living in present said area today so damn light?.....

    • @BibleStories868
      @BibleStories868 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@jimmirexhaggins Information about the Kushite wife is generally understood to mean that she came from the land of Kush, located in northeastern Africa, where people tend to have darker skin. Meanwhile, Zippora, Moses' first wife, came from the region of Midian (today's Arabian Peninsula), and we don't have much information about her skin color from ancient texts. How the people living in this area today appear lighter may have to do with the mixing of cultures and populations over the centuries, due to migrations, trade, and political changes in the region. This has caused the ethnicity and appearance of the people to change over time.

      In the video, I focused on the story of Moses' Cushite wife and its theological significance, so I didn't go into much of the historical context. The skin color of the people in ancient Egypt in North Africa was very diverse, from the darker-skinned people in the south (Nubia) to the lighter-skinned people in the north. The fact that the Bible describes Moses' wife as a Cushite shows that ethnic diversity has existed since ancient times. Thank you for helping to enrich the topic of the video. Your prayers are powerful and touching. I believe that God hears these pleas. May He pour out His Holy Spirit upon Israel, opening their eyes to know Him as the living and true God, their loving Father. May He heal and free them from spiritual blindness, pride, and hardness of heart, and lead them to Jesus, the only Savior.

    Zipporah, daughter of the priest Midian, married Moses during his exile. Her courageous act of circumcising her son (Exodus 4:24-26), though somewhat mysterious, reveals her to be a woman of determination and strong faith. Some scholars believe that Zipporah’s action saved Moses from God’s wrath, underscoring her pivotal role in protecting her husband’s mission. Zipporah’s story raises interesting questions about the role of women in the Bible and the complex relationships between different cultures.

    Moses had one wife...

    • @BibleStories868
      @BibleStories868 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Not entirely true. In the Bible, Moses had at least two wives. His first wife was Zipporah, daughter of Jethro, mentioned in the book of Exodus. Also, in Numbers 12:1, there is a mention of another wife of Moses, a Cushite (Ethiopian) woman.

A Cushite is not a Midian...... The first wife was Arab and the second wife was Black. She also was not the same color that Moses and his siblings were. Now if you read your old books you would know all this stuff......

      @sarahwaters10sw The Arabs/Midians Isrealites/ Cush/ Egyptians are damn near the same color🤬🤣🤣🤣🤣 For example when Joseph was in Egypt and his brothers came looking for food they didn't even recognize him at 1st glance/ When Moses met his 1st wife she told her father she met an Egyptian/ Some of the commandment when they left Egypt was not to cut their hair and beards like the Egyptians so you very well tell who was an Isrealile from the Egyptian. In the book of Acts in the NT the Roman soldier mistake Paul the Apostle for an Egyptian. Abraham came from Ur which was in modern day Iran. The thing that separated the nations then was not color it was customs culture and religion and the different gods they worship not color of skin....The main custom that separated Isreal men was circumcision

    How do you know the Centurions feelings and thoughts?

    • @BibleStories868
      @BibleStories868 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You have a very good question. Actually, the Bible does not say much about the centurion's feelings and thoughts. However, we can make some inferences based on what the Bible says. As for the centurion, his strong faith was shown by his recognition of Jesus' authority and his belief that He could heal his servant with just a word. This shows that he was humble, God-fearing, and had deep compassion for his servant.

      I understand that you are heartbroken and outraged by this sad event, and I agree that it was an inexcusable act of cruelty. No one has the right to take another person’s life, and this precious woman certainly deserves love and respect. God’s Word teaches us that life is precious, and that all people are made in God’s image. God loves each of us unconditionally, and it pains Him to see evil and injustice in the world. The Bible also reminds us that justice ultimately belongs to God, and those who do evil will be held accountable before Him.

    St. Longinus is the centurion who pierced the side of Our Lord while He was hanging on the Cross. St. Longinus, who was nearly blind, was healed when some of the blood and water from Jesus fell into his eyes. It was then he exclaimed "Indeed, this was the Son of God!" [Mark 15:39]. St. Longinus then converted, Left the army, took instruction from the apostles and became a monk in Cappadocia. There he was arrested for his faith, his teeth forced out and tongue cut off. However, St. Longinus miraculously continued to speak clearly and managed to destroy several idols in the presence of the governor. The governor, who was made blind by the demons that came from the idols, had his sight restored when St. Longinus was being beheaded, because his blood came in contact with the governors' eyes. St. Longinus' relics are now in the church of St Augustine, in Rome. His Lance is contained in one of the four pillars over the altar in the Basilica of St Peter's in Rome.

      Not entirely true. According to the Gospel of Luke (Luke 23:39-43), only one thief mocked Jesus. The other thief did not mock but rebuked his accomplice, saying, "We are getting what we deserved, for we got what we deserved for what we did, but this man has done nothing wrong." Then the thief asked Jesus, "Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom." Jesus replied, "Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise."
