A short video of our family day trip to Gibraltar. A great place to visit with the family.
We did a mini road trip there from Malaga, Spain, it took us about an hour and a half. We parked right outside the boarder at the Santa Barbara parking, cost us 11 euros (16 for the whole day) and was less than 5 minutes walk from the boarder.
Don’t forget your passports! Once over the boarder you can pick up the bus which is included in the Gibraltar pass. Alternatively plenty of taxis are available, walking to the cable car would take you about 40 minutes.
The pass includes access to the cable car and nature reserve which is where you’ll find the famous apes and St Michaels cave plus much more!
With the Gibraltar pass you can book a tour ahead of time which will save your feet and get you round the main sites. You can walk but you’ll need more time.
There are some lovely waterfront restaurants in the centre, recommend booking ahead as they get busy.
