Praise Jesus, we were able to distribute 64 New Testaments to people who we would not otherwise meet. What Satan meant for evil God can use for good. We also gave away some wonderful candy. I refuse to let the devil have any day that God has made for rejoicing. God Bless.

It’s been a long time coming but I’m truly grateful for all the guidance and support to finally take the next step into coming closer to god praise the lord and thank you for putting all of you into my life

It's the 11th hour, beloved. Matthew 25:6-9 The foundational doctrine of salvation in Christ is the milk (Hebrews 5:13-14; 6:1-2). The Torah is the meat . It is also the light that illuminates the way/path that God wants His people to take (Proverbs 6:23-26). Jesus is the Light of the world that illuminated and magnified the Torah. That's why the first believers were called, "People of the Way"...they turned from following the Pharisees man-made laws and traditions that made void the law and turned to the pure water of life, Torah (Revelation 22:1) Jesus showed the glory of God's instruction in the same manner that Moses did. If you read Malachi 3, you'll see that Jesus came to return God's people to Torah so that God wouldn't strike the WHOLE EARTH! The return to Torah started in Jerusalem with some from the house of Judah and many from the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Then after He was glorified and gave the Holy Spirit, He sent out His disciples to teach everything He had taught (the word/law) and make disciples of ALL the nations. THEN SATAN FOUND HIS WAY INTO THE ASSEMBLY and caused the "church fathers" to erase every whiff of Torah obedience from "the faith that was once FOR ALL delivered to the saints" and so it is to this day. What you should be looking for in an assembly/congregation is a group that is Torah observant (not rabbinic Judaism observant because that's the group Jesus rebuked); a group that has stopped worshipping God according to their own imagination ie: Christmas "season", Easter "season"...a group that has repented of their "golden calf worship" and has embraced God's ONLY appointed holy days...including Sabbath(s). Scripture says that those that worship according to their own imagination will be subject to correction and will suffer shame of face, complete loss of all their cherished dogmas and you will loathe yourselves in your own eyes. Now, you know what kind of church/assembly you should look for, it's up to you to seek it out or face the consequences. “Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming,” Says the Lord of hosts. “But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For HE IS LIKE A REFINER'S FIRE AND LIKE LAUNDER'S SOAP. He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the Lord An offering in righteousness. “Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem Will be pleasant to the Lord, As in the days of old, As in former years. And I will come near you for judgment; I will be a swift witness Against sorcerers, Against adulterers, Against perjurers, Against those who exploit wage earners and widows and orphans, And against those who turn away an alien- Because they do not fear Me,” Says the Lord of hosts. “For I am the Lord, I DO NOT CHANGE; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob. Yet from the days of your fathers You have gone away from My ordinances And have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” Says the Lord of hosts. “But you said, ‘In what way shall we return?’... Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, And the Lord listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the Lord And who meditate on His name. “They shall be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts, “On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them As a man spares his own son who serves him.” Then you shall again discern Between the righteous and the wicked, Between one who serves God And one who does not serve Him." "I counsel you to buy from ME gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see." Praise the Lord! What a great Summer Revival! I've really enjoyed watching online from out of state. We serve such an amazing God! It's so great to know there are still churches devoted to preaching the Truth of God's Word, along with worshiping our Lord and Savior with the reverence He is most worthy of. From truthful preaching to Biblical dress standards to Godly, glory-filled music, it's very apparent Elizabeth City Baptist Church is committed to giving their best for the Lord!

Was a great service worth the drive 🙏.

Interesting story, the way I’ve looked at this story is that it’s an allegorie, that paints a picture of some one turning back from the true focus of out faith which should be the cross. For example Jeroboam was offering up incense on the alter at Bethel, he should have been offering up a sacrifice at Solomons temple in Judea, which in the old testament was a picture of the cross to come. The man of God was instructed to correct him, then leave by a different way, this shows in God we can only go forward in our faith, not turn back in any way, or turn to a different way. When the false prophet found the man of God, he was sitting under the oak tree, this is the position we should always be in, as the oak tree represents the cross, so we should live our life in the shadow of the cross, however the old prophet comes to the man of God and tells him to go back to his place. I see two problems here, one is he is going back to an old doctrine that does not anchor their faith in the cross, it could be a doctrine of works, and second one is he is eating and drinking from the old way of teaching before he learnt the “message of the cross” which is the terminology the apostle Paul called it in 1 Corinthians 1:10. To summarize, its simply going back to old teachings that do not teach the “message of the cross”.
