This was March 12, 2024. We were very lucky with the weather then. for this period it was bad weather for 6 weeks. and often too hot. We arrived on Sunday and it snowed heavily that night. on Monday the sun started to shine. We had fantastic weather and snow all week. sometimes you need a little luck. I hope this will also be lucky for you. it is granted to you. I will be back in the area on December 8. and I'll ask them to save some snow for March.😊

I don't know how well you can ski? but if you can ski reasonably well, it is three lifts to Corvara. take the Burzz lift towards Corvara. you will then automatically arrive in Corvara. a slightly advanced skier will take no more than half an hour. for a beginner it will be quite challenging to ski to Corvara. I don't know how long it takes you by bus. have fun in Arabba!!

If it is your first time skiing, take the bus back to Arabba. I will be in the area from March 10. and if you have any more questions, please let me know. Maybe you should ask the ski school in Corvara if they think it would be wise for you to ski back to Arabba?@@dreamingdragon77

Why not take a ski school in Arabba? It's a lot easier I think. the return journey from corvara to arabba starts in the video 3.55 minutes.

This was recorded in January 2018. I read somewhere that the gorge will open again in the summer of 2024. but I don't know if this is correct.

no, it is a separate ski area. you can descend to Ortisei at the top. this is a fantastic beautiful descent of 10.5 km long. yes, you can take the bus from there to the other side of Ortisei. that area is called Seiser Alm. From there it is possible to take the bus to Val Garden. that's another round. quite a challenge to do that. and you are dependent on buses and you have to stay in the area, otherwise you won't make it in time.

Thank you for liking the movie. it was filmed with an insta360 x2 camera on a selfie stick. the camera on my helmet is a GoPro max 360. but I did not use these images. a 360 camera on a selfie stick gives you the option to film in front of you and film behind you. Hopefully I have given you a sufficient answer to your question?
