Dear viewers!
Here we are again with another video! This time we are playing a jazz standard from the bebop era. A genre of music that is known for its virtuosity, complex harmony and the swing rhythm. 'A night in tunisia' was composed by Dizzy Gillespie in the beginning of the 1940's. He was a trumpet player who played together with Charlie Parker and is easily recognizable by his crooked trumpet and his pouched cheeks. We used the arrangement for solo guitar by Roland Dyens as a base and we added in an easter egg for the Brazilian people ;)
