Is a Heat fan it was tough to watch the ass whupping The Spurs put on us last year but The Spurs are a class franchise. Not just in The NBA but all of Sports. You deserved to win the title. Duncan and Popovich the best player/coach duo of all time in Sports. along with Brady and Belichick.

Cavs and LeBron need to watch this. THIS is how you build a franchise.

So much xenophobia towards Manu Ginobli. I don't get it. This is a guy who had to put up with his own coach routinely blaming him for losing Game 7 AND getting demoted to the bench. Can you imagine how that would go down with any other team? Latrell Sprewell choked his own coach. Jason Kidd lead a mutiny to get his coach fired. The team chemistry of the Spurs is a precious, dying commodity.

The real beautiful thing is that Tim Duncan gave the trophy to Michael Finley. The previous year he lost to the spurs when he played for The Mavericks. He signed a contract to join the Spurs & they welcomed him with open arms. So Tim knew he had been waiting for that moment & he gave him the trophy to hold onto it.

Caitlynn, he stood up and charged toward Horry. His own coaches had to restrain him. What game were you watching. He broke the rules and got a suspension. Horry got two games for a hit that would have only drawn one if Amare and Diaw hadn't gotten suspended. Of course the Suns always thought the rules should not apply to them.

My biggest regret is GAME 6 of the 2013 NBA FINALS! It's a tough pill to swallow to this day, but I'm confident they'll bounce back next season, and get to the Finals again.

They probably said the same thing about the Spurs after George Gervin left in 1984-85...and look at the Spurs now! Hall of Famers in David Robinson, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker (maybe Ginobili); 5 finals appearances and 4 nba championships becoming the first (and currently the only) former ABA team to win an NBA Championship.

But they dont say the same about the heat where their big 3 are 31, 28, 29 and the rest are about 30+. Spurs were still called "old" but their avg. age was about 28yrs old. The media does try to bury the spurs, if they arent just ignoring them, they are calling them "boring and old". And the shheple just follow along
