Wow…woodworking art!! Love the map!! Trust the source!!
Very beautiful.
Thank you! I appreciate it!
Yes! Good word!! You are very talented!!
Lots of emotions listening to this one. Very wise words!!!!
I see awesome picture frames!!!
Awesome idea for legs…and so many possibilities. Very cool designs.
Very brave to put yourself out there letting people see/hear intimate thoughts. You may have been cowardly in your past but not anymore. God bless you and your wife.
You're a treasure.
Very nice. I like the use of screws and dovetails. Should be indestructible
Thanks! Definitely, the screws add a lot of strength (not to mention easing any possibly need for repairs down the road) and I quite like the aesthetic appeal as well. Cheers!!
Really cool video Nate.
Shhhh don’t tell all the weirdos on here my name 😂……..glad you liked it. You best reconsider and hit that subscribe button, I can tell you didn’t 😂
You know that it is so good when it makes you smile. Do you make a piece based on a vision of the final product, creating based on what you have on hand?
Yes, that is a good summation of my process while building gallery type pieces. I have a rough sketch or idea in mind but leave it flexible until the materials at hand combine to form the final design. On the other hand while doing pieces for a specific customer I’ll usually hash out a few more of the details just so everyone is on the same page. Thanks for watching! Much appreciated!!
Amen brother, completely agree with you! It seems as though you and I have actually been on some of the same trails…😊
Probably, if you happen to run into me out there don’t bother asking for directions cause I have no idea 😂
Great aesthetic choices! Love the piece. Listened to the narration, respect.
Much appreciated! 🫡
Completely ignored the narration, Nice drawer fronts. Dovetails I would make flush, less randomly distributed and sharp but you know, de gustibus.... Anyway, good work after all.
How dare you ignore my ramblings 😂. I like the proud pins personally. As for sharp I agree they do look better that way but I get annoyed trying to use such small chisels. I do agree with the layout though. I didn’t realize how weird they would look being a top hung drawer with no divider between them. Like you said to each his own. Cheers!
Great title and great talk, integrity is rare and requires not just the willingness to do the extra work for nothing but your own peace of mind, but also the ability to hold yourself accountable to an acceptable standard of quality. When the world is falling apart around us and it seems like everything is a facsimile of a real product, doing good work is the only way you to stem the endless tides of garbage collecting all around us.
Agreed! Nothing more annoying than buying something expecting it to function as the item it appears to be only to realize that appearance is the only resemblance it has to the real thing. Thanks for watching and commenting by the way. My videos don’t get a wide audience so it nice to hear when they do connect with someone. Cheers!!
@@SevenDegreeTails Tell me about it, I bought a new block for one of my chainsaws and they sent me cast aluminium x.x
@@vyvianalcott1681 Yup that sounds about right 😂
Integrity!!
Such a waste of good burl. 5/16 inch for a chainsaw or 1/8 of an inch for a bandsaw
Don’t worry it’ll be alright. I bet ya didn’t know this but they grow on trees. Obviously if I had a bandsaw I would have used it.
Is it for sale???
This one will be when it’s finished. Jen will be posting it to Facebook. Won’t be cheap as the antique doors alone were about $750. I’m guessing about $2500
@SevenDegreeTails thank you for responding
Nice job, sir beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Cool project!
Thank you! Cheers!
What does it do? You should put a cool light inside and make it pretty
So it will eventually be a lawn art type sculpture based on the geometric shape of an egg. It’s for the public arts initiative of egg harbor. It will have some anodized aluminum for some color. The light is an interesting idea that I had not considered. I’ll keep it in mind. Thanks for watching! Cheers!
@ oh that’s interesting. It looks very well done. Great work!! I’ll have to keep my eye open for the finally product on display at the arts festival
Thanks! Indeed do…….it’ll be on display all throughout the town during this coming summer. It’ll be auctioned off in august along with 30 other participants. Eggstravaganza 2025 if you’re interested in looking it up.
Eh you’ll be alright. Enjoy your spacesuit 😂
Dear routers, I appreciate everything you do for me.
Except for the dust, deafening screeching noise and the occasional chance to throw a fragment of wood or metal into my face at high speed 😂
@SevenDegreeTails in that case allow me to introduce you to noice cancelling headphones, a shop vac, and western civilization safety standards
I don't want to wear a spacesuit in my shop lol. In that case I may as well just use a g&l cnc at work. I like the simplicity of hand tools.....thats basically it
@SevenDegreeTails noise cancelling headphones = space suit? Are you okay? Do you know what a space suit is? Do you know what noise cancelling headphones are? There is nothing wrong with preferring the efficiency versatility & precision of power tools just as there is nothing wrong with enjoying & preferring hand tools. I prefer hand planes to jointers, planers, & table saw jigs. But I've never felt the need to use irrational & incoherent comparisons to justify my preference.
Just wanted to jump back on here to let you know that routers still suck!
Wow!
Thanks! 🙂
The little I've seen is enough to say Beautiful work!
Thank you Much appreciated!
I love breadboards, but what is it??!! ☺️
It's a board for bread duh......only soughdough though 😁
need some music in the background
I'll see what I can do lol
Philosophy🤝Carpentry. Thank you for posting this
You hit the nail on the head. Pun intended lol. Thanks for watching 🫡
Not sure what it is? Maybe a place for prayer?
No it’s simply a coat closet. Or is it?!
Beautiful piece!!!!
Thanks 🙂
aron kodesh??
I don’t know what this door originally was built for so possibly. Although now it definitely contains references to the New Testament.
Interesting for sure. it's really nice just to have fun sometimes and try things to put in the design toolbox later.
Agreed.....it was an enjoyable build. Cheers!
Standing mirror?
Egcellent guess, but no
You did a nice job.
Thanks much!
Squaring the Circle, bro!
That does fit a bit better lol
In your opinion are wooden handle or rubber handled tools better?
Gotta go with wood.......Better color and feel not to mention the repairability factor!
Very beautiful. 👌
Pointless sh1t
Ah yes.. the old swastika gate... 😂 Lol jk. Nice project man!!
Thanks....Now everytime I look at them thats all I'm gonna be thinking lol
do you make for people or no
Absolutely. I currently have an array of furniture at Woodwalk gallery in door county WI. Otherwise if you are looking for a custom piece you can email me at sevendegreetails@gmail.com

I'm going to ignore everything you said (since I have no idea what you're attempting to say) except the last three words. So thanks lol
That’s a lovely looking piece. Well done.
Thank you! Cheers!
Awesome project. They look so stunning. Keep up the good work.
Thank you........much appreciated! 🫡
lovely :))
Je l'aurais fait tourner de 90° afin d'avoir le même sens de fil !!!
I agree aesthetically it would have looked better with a vertical grain orientation however I wanted the horizontal part of the cross to act as a butterfly to keep the crack from getting any worse.
@@SevenDegreeTails oui j'avais bien compris l'utilité du papillon 👍
Nicely Done!
