Noticed that the first Chinese character on the first scene is "泰来“, which literally means "Luck comes".

I have had occasion to meet Annie Haslam when she has performed at some small venues in the Pittsburgh area. She is 100% a classy individual, and every bit as sweet as her voice. I fell in love with her singing when I heard "Scherazade and Other Stories" as the "midnight album" on one of our AOR stations back in the 70's.

Wow, what a great post. No electronic wizardry, no digital manipulation, no autotune. Just a group of extremely talented musicians accompanied by an angel.

She's out there somewhere in Bucks...I have no idea where...but how cool would it be to bump into her and reminisce about those days in Philly of the 1970's. I wonder if we would even recognize each other today. My hair was longer than hers...LOL.

RTL4, it is NOT about you!

I’m from 1962. My older brother was 5 years older. Around these years - say 1974 - he guided me to Genesis (the Peter Gabriel years!), Renaissance, Gentle Giant and the likes. Still listening to those bands today - I guess I can never thank him enough.

Kentucky Woman - Too bad Ritchie wouldn’t rip the solo just like the record - one of the most original, iconic, and difficult solos to play. It took me years to figure out how he did it. (If I can play it he sure could if he had wanted to) But he’s like Beck - NEVER a clone of himself live. Always been one of my top 5.

It is strange that there is no other interpretation of this wonderful piece.

Discovered them with Turn of the Cards album. Bought all their U S albums within a week!

This performance is wonderful and it's so beautiful to be able to watch it in good quality. But for those who haven't listened yet, I highly recommend the live version of this same song from Carnegie Hall, with a looooong bass solo that will blow your mind. Unfortunately, there is no video of that one so you can only listen to it. It's one of the best live performances I've ever listened to.
