Just did it on controller (PS5) with a time of 27:534... took me about 40+ mins that was damn hard... possible, but hard (gold 27:580)

I play on simple steering wheel (no feedback, but better than gamepad) and can't go faster than 2:08 even with chicane cutting. I hate this Jag, it's very nervous car even with TC 3 or 4. I tried exit and enter into event for enemies shuffle, but first 5/8 cars every time go away from others before i get closer to them. Idk how to get it, i play almost all day today, i check few videos, i drive 1k km and didn't get bronze, lol. It's frustrating

Great work and I enjoy the playback! I also cleared the gold level of this lap test a while ago with a reduced time for the gold standard. But with the lower required time (2:18.500), the car also goes faster than before. So, it is not necessarily easier to clear this lap test 2 years ago under the required time 2:21.400. I note that your car reached the highest speed of 160 m/h on the long straight after the first chicane whereas mine reached 167 m/h.

What the? Did they change the requirement for gold in the latest build?! I’ve been SLAMMING my head against the wall because gold is now 1:39.500!!! Feels impossible! Closest I got was a 1:39.530 (I was LIVID). I can get 1:40’s all day! Seeing you having 1:41.500 for Gold is a kick in the teeth!

I don't know why but I can't win, I feel like the car is super slow, I can't even get past eighth, Can anyone give me a hand?

Do you have any tips for the carousel turn? its the only corner i cant seem to get right, i either hit a bump going too much inside or get thrown out halfway due to understeer.

Every tutorial I watch to try and complete this race they're using a car that isn't available to me. I have no idea how to get this car or any of the cars suggested in other videos.

Thanks for breaking everything down so well. I was struggling to get better than 2nd on this group but this setup made it a sinch, even without having access to the titanium rods and pistons yet!! Also took the same car, added weight reduction 1, medium racing tires, port & polish and stroke up then adjusted ballast until PP was 699.73 and absolutely manhandled the WTC 700 cup!!

So annoying they reduced the times! Gold is now 1:48... I can hit 1:51 which I did just by learning the track. Came onto YT to find how I can save 3 seconds but looks like it'll be very difficult for this one!

The time to complete this in gold is set to 36.700 now...

I just passed this today and screamed with joy. For anyone struggling with this, the trick is to learn how to accelerate (hold accelerator at half) through the corners and also learn how to pulse the accelerator to help with turning the car mid corner to straighten through. This really should be 38.4 for gold. I had tcs 3, abs on, ASM on.
