Yes, while the trunk is opening, you press the button for electric closing once to stop the trunk, and than let it go, after that press and hold the button and the car will confirm it. And that will be the new position of the trunk opening. Let me know if it works, it’s been a long time since I did it.
And thats the easiest astro to v8. Unbolt core support and take it out the front

Only buy 2010 and up rx 350 they had steering leaks but were fixed in 2010 and up

305 will never let you down
Added 150 LB or so to an already nose heavy van for 20 or 30 HP? STOOOOPIDD! Turbo the 4.3 ala Syclone/Typhoon and kick the living crap out of this thing.
Weighed my 91 with the v6 and again when the v8 was done. 70# difference with the v8.
He didn't do it for the power. He did it because it's simple an period correct.

Nothing wrong with a 305 Astro, my first one was one. She moved pretty well too. Really needs a cam even a stocker hot cam. The TBIs were only like 170ish stock. They made a full 80ish ft-lbs over a 4.3L though which is really nice.

I have a 92. An extra hundred horsepower would almost be double. lol Mines a factory conversion though so its probably heavier than his cargo. Best sub-thousand dollar vehicle I have bought, even if its a dog.
with all the hassel of puting a v8 in one of these why use a 305 they are junk? I would have at least put a 350, its nice van though.
305 are nice moters everyone that I had lasted longer then a 350 don't get the moters with the valve covers with the bolts in the middle they always leak bad always had problems with them get older 80s moters last a million miles
@@xavierjasway2782 I agree that people aree forgetting the advantage of a 305 is that it is cheap and sturdy....like a truck motor which why not
Only difference between a 305 and a 350 is the cylinder bore size. Only .264" difference per cylinder
