DIY Widebody IS300 Hammer & Filler | Silvers Coil Overs & Ratzingers 4K
THIS WAS A TON OF FUN. HUGE shout out to Will over at Silvers Suspension (@silverssuspensionna on Instagram) for the partnership, they make nothing but quality American made coil overs and the shipping is MAD fast. Also another HUGE shout out to Nathan (@theyungblasian on Instagram) for helping film he is for hire so hit him up! I love and hated every second of making this happen with the is300. Would I do the hammer and Filler method again for fender flares, probably not, was is super cheap yes, did it come out good? It met my standards I guess haha. Yes you can do this with your car, no I am not responsible if you mess it up hahah. If you're any good with body work and have a intermediate level of experience with it you can definitely achieve it. I didn't want to stray too far from stock body with the wagon so I decided to beat my fenders to heck into a flare to fit these wheels. lol

Considering they are forged and 2 piece, powder coating the polished lip really takes away from the quality look of the wheel.
Black lips were also a factory option from Work I’m not much for black wheels but this changed my mind a bit

does the clear trunk light fit on the sportcross edition? and if so, is there any modification needed to be done for fitment?

Hi, the trunk clears don't fit the sportcross, did you cut out the mounts or something like that to make it fit ? Other than that, very cool video, very helpful
I used sportx housing and sedan lenses and did the same thing.

I used aftermarket clear sedan trunk light lenses and oem wagon trunk light housings.

I think paint matching the chrome to whatever color your car is could be super cool. And I’ve thought about doing it myself.
