This was a tough stage for me. Wasn't quite sure about the direction I was taking it. All I knew was that I hated all the black parts on a white bike. Nothing back then was solid color/all black accents. It's a lot like when the car companies all paid homage to their vintage cars... they were missing chrome bumpers and I felt like the only one that could see it.
I don't think so. All white tends to look like space objects. I don't like you little highlight rim decoration. I don't like how you've aligned the handle bars. The top tube on the handle bars is supposed to be inline with or behind the headstem post. I hate your seat mount position. Seat height is for side to side movement on the bike. It's not for your comfort.
@@Gma7788 the bike looks nothing like this now. All the stock parts are wrapped and locked up in a sealed crate. I find it absolutely hilarious that you spent all that time critiquing a bone stock bicycle. Everything you said was subjective and from your personal tastes. I do have another video of the bike being about 90% complete. Feel free to tell me what I did wrong, as you believe you are an authority on all things BMX and color schemes. Can't wait.
Is it 4130 everything? Bars 4130? Thanks

@@SIGFREDOVELEZVELEZ Entiendo mucho Español, pero no puedo digo mucho. Que año es tu bicicleta?
I’m over 40, does the sprocket make this bike hard to ride, slower? If I wanna ride fast and easy should I get this one or an old one w a larger sprocket?
@@eval7952 with the 28 tooth, the ratio is similar to old school, but taking off is labored. The standard 25 tooth on current day bikes is great for taking off, but top speed is quite slow. The 27 tooth has an easier launch, but keeps most of the top end.
The custom touches on this are AWESOME!
My greatest fear is that I will "finish" this one and start another. Every time I look at a complete bike... "This stupid toy literally costs the same as my Acura.".

It looks so nice! I cant wait to see it in person!

I was going to buy a black one not sure the year but it’s a pro performer heritage.. unfortunately I heard the quality was sub par, do you have any opinions or input on the quality??
@@NewEdgeDesigns the quality is not there for the price. It's by no means trash though. Gary Turner is still a brand though. His son is making bikes and you can order frame/forkbars or a complete bike from them. GT got bought out a long time ago.
@@TheDwightMamba thanks for the reply..if I was to buy a used one what would be a fair offer?? They are asking $900 with skyway tough || wheels..
@@NewEdgeDesigns $900 is about the going rate. The white ones are worth more for their low numbers during Covid 19.

Living in a tent with a litterbox,yuck
@@Beaglesrock they are my ex's cats. I had to live in that tent to keep them out of a shelter. That tent was cleaner than most people's homes. I'm back to living in a normal house again and have a pretty kick ass camping rig in the storage unit. I pooped in a bucket for a year. The litter boxes were the last of my worries.
I hear ya,my ex got the house though,I got the beagles.glad to hear you all set up again.👍
@@Beaglesrock I never planned on being a cat person. The whole time I was in that tent, I told those cats we were going to be fine.

@@TheDwightMamba I dropped over 1200 in 1986 building mine but still. 2400 sounds ridiculous especially when its brand loyal people buying for nostalgia.
I had a 1984 gt pro performer and a nickel 1979 mongoose wish id kept them now theyd be worth thousands
Ever heard of the 25 year rule? If you look at for sale posts, they are priced high and nobody is buying. The market peaked. 25 years is the sweet spot to sell something from the hobby world. After that, it declines.
Nice bike!!! I really want to get a heritage bike, because even though I'm 49, I still ride pretty hard, & wouldn't trust a 40yo+ bike with my life! 😂 I got now a full custom 2020 Sunday EX, 2023 Sunday Darkwave, & a 2023 Kink Whip XL, & I was really surprised at how nice the Kink Whip is for $499, & got it in a trade, & was gonna get rid of it, but actually really like it, so I'll load it up with Cinema parts & yet spend WAY TOO MUCH MONEY on a "kids bike"....... lol
I'm over $2,500 into the bike and I consider it my midlife crisis.
When people say happy wife happy life. I hit them back with “happy spouse happy house”.
I''ve never been married, so I don't get it.
So sick!
This is obviously not in a cold environment.
The tent was in the back of a metal barn and I lived in it for a year.. When it wasn't a cold environment, it was a sweltering hot one. Thank you for commenting, obviously.
Beautiful cats!
They were the reason I spent almost a year in that tent. I got an ex out before Covid 19 became a thing. It's safe to say they are my cats now.
It looks so sick! I gotta wonder how it feels compared to a 87 performer or my 88 pro freestyle tour!
It feels like a mix of the old with the new. The geometry is leaning towards a modern street bike, but it's great to ride.
Tiny living places always attracted me.I find big living places or mansions boring & difficult to manage.
This was without a doubt the hardest year of my life. Glad it's over.
@@TheDwightMamba Best wishes Not just for next year but the rest of your future life brother.
sad that you have to live like that......better than out on street though.....
I have been out of there for almost a year. Thank you!
BAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA try this in Canada Police and Bylaw would steel your stuff in minutes.
Thankfully I pulled off a year in there without incident, because I don't live in the attic of a real nation. Now I'm in a house again and the cats never went into a shelter to be separated. They were the only reason I had to do that. Be nicer to people and maybe your life won't be so miserable that you must laugh at strangers on the internet.
Are the Cats stiLL 2gether after this video A year Later? U out of the tent I am hoping 😶
I have been out of there for almost a year. And yes, the ladies are still with me.
@@TheDwightMamba That is so good to hear. I hope you guys are doing weLL ☺ PLs keep Safe! 👍
I am looking to buy my first circular saw and my instinct is to go with blade on the left and motor on the right. This way you can see the blade engage with the workpiece. I am right handed. Can you tell me in practical terms why you prefer the blade on the right (where you cannot see it engaging with the workpiece? Thanks for your good video. 😃
For me, left side blades spit wood chips under my glasses. Right side blades can be seen where the blade meets the pencil line and chips fly at an angle that is near impossible to get under my eye protection. My eyes are sapphire blue and my hope is that they are my ticket out of this manual labor nonsense. Looking for a lady with a private jet and a persistent cough.
If you are in the market for a cordless circular saw, the 7 1/4" Milwaukee runs like it's plugged into a wall outlet. Bosch makes a 7 1/4", but I'm so happy with the M18, I won't need to try it.
The 18v-57 is the smallest Bosch saw. Try a bigger one and you will see the massive diferent.
How terrible is your vision?
Nooooooo
You are correct, random dude with zero subs. I will change everything back to stock.... only after I see a video of your BMX. I will not be holding my breath.
Still waiting on a link to see your bike. I highly doubt you have anything close to this dopeness.

I'm in the middle of a total rebuild on it. The black parts started getting on my nerves, so everything is being replaced or powdercoated in white with a few jet-fuel accents. Just ordered my wheels and tires from Scotty Cranmer Bicycles in Jersey. I can't wait to put them on!

This will remove the printed labeling on the hex wrench. Just remember that the one without the label is your 2mm.
I have my PK old school if you'd like to do a video interviee with her.
Indeed! That's a grail bike.
How do you get tv and what happens with the cats if you have to move
Samsung TV with a pair of Samsung phones. I pay TH-cam $12/month to be able to download shows that can play off-line, because the metal barn the tent was in let's zero signal in or out. Thankfully, the cats and I are living in a house again. It took almost a year to find something, but I told those ladies we were all making it out of there together and Luna is purring on my chest and Duchess is sleeping next to my left arm. Now that the dust has settled, I have the most sarcastic camping setup possible. Living in a tent in the winter on short notice is more expensive than I ever thought it could be.
@@TheDwightMamba I glad to know you are good and the cats are well please give them a hug from my wife and i
@@normanwarren719 , I kicked my ex out weeks before Covid. I kept her dogs for about half a year, but here we are 3 years later and she's married with new cats. I would do this again for them if I had to. Glad it's over though. Those ladies cuddle me nightly. One on my chest and her daughter on my left.
Amazing Bike. Personally I don’t like the Sealed goosenecks. You can’t adjust the Hight anymore. The new “ChainRings” are weird too. Thanks for sharing
The height is adjusted with spacers or by buying a stem with a higher mounting point. The geometry on this bike is excellent for me [6' tall]. 20.75" top-tube seems to be choice. My real gripe with the bike seems to be a common one, which is massive wheel hop. The hubs are nowhere near centered. When I went to fix it, I discovered they stripped half the nipples with spokes poking all the way out. On the other side of both rims they are way too short. Since I'm building new wheels anyway. It's not a massive gripe. I'll let a bike shop deal with whatever it takes to true them and they'll go on another bike down the road. I'm switching to a 27 tooth up front. 28 is too tall and the industry standard 25 tooth is way too short for me. Hopefully 27 is mu sweet spot. The new gear ratios help drop the weight and clear ramp coping so much easier. I thought it looked goofy at first, but it has grown on me. I look forward to making a video once the build is done.
Another way to adjust is with shorter or taller bars.
