I personally leave a USB connected to my controller on my PC instead of wireless. Batteries this day and age is really an odd choice. But I guess it keeps costs down.

Keep doing what you're doing. Switching it back and forth between the dig sites. I watch your videos and particular this series to chill before going to bed. I wonder if trees regrow after a while or do you need to go further away to cut down the trees.

This is such an enjoyable game. I had a blast making a series out of the demo. Their building system is one of the best of any game out there. Turtle Train?! I know they were talking about changing the learning mechanics from the Learning Stones to the sketchbook system. Maybe try equipping the sketchbooks to see if that lets you 'learn' various things you come across. Good show!

Thanks for the video. There are no ore veins on Quarry Hill, like the ore nodes on the other maps, only a slight sprinkling of coal and aluminium/iron ore in a few places. Apart from the minor outcroppings of bedrock, the rest of the map is all paydirt. When you unlock the big frontend loaders (soon, as memory serves, it's at lvl 40), do yourself a favour and skip the 1665 loader. Compared to the 2335, which is only 300k more, it feels incredibly underpowered, despite having the same power to weight ratio as the big one. For those, who doesn't want to bother with production, and sell the raw processed ore directly, here's the results of a rather large sample test I ran recently: Average profits: paydirt 4.2$/unit, bedrock 8.7$/unit. Happy digging and take care.

Also, it might be faster/easier to just keep pulling Pay and selling it's yields, and then just buying lumber for supports... rather than spending time cutting trees on a solo playthrough😅

You could definitely just dig a second access tunnel down to iron+ level through the rock. One that starts off on the far side of the current entrance, and gets down to grade while leaving your current Pay chamber alone (so you can keep digging it out till its gone😂)

I blame selling off the goats on not having named them. If we already knew them as Billy, Butt-head, Faun, Gandalf, and Scape then they'd be here for the life of the series. 😉 I'm guessing the invisible thing is part of a tree. Maybe a reload will fix it, otherwise use the saw mod to "delete stump" it randomly over the area until it grabs something. Speaking of, you can do the same with any bush you want to make go away. And I've found that repairing and repainting equipment before selling them gives a better price, including the repair costs. You could actually make money buying all the used equipment then repairing and reselling. New business model! Good show!

Thanks, man! I was confused about where to find the advanced controls for them. Realizing I had to have them selected to get a different menu had me stumped for a little bit too. Now I was trying to figure out how to set them in a job loop. I didn't try very hard to find it obviously. I jsut never would have thought under information. Appreciate it.

Thanks for the video. It's a bit easier digging the bedrock, if you fracture it with explosives first (plus it won't end up as solid rock in your plant). A word of caution on production. You really need to calculate production costs vs selling the smelted minerals, before jumping hardcore into production. Prices have been tweaked a bit, true, but some of the items are total moneypits. Others are so easy and profitable it's not even funny (yeah, that's you, woodblocks! 🙂 ) ECU's are profitable, even after buying all the parts for production, but we are not talking instant millionaire. The built ones sell for 1050, and your production costs are around 850 dollhairs. Add the production time to the equation as well, and there are faster ways to make bank. Take care.

One improvement I'd like to see is to allow the existing Production Buildings already on the map to be able to process your goods for you (for a fee). IRL a farmer can bring his wheat to a mill and have it turned into flour for him. What farmer IRL has to build his own mill? Always thought that was odd in FS. Anyway... Good show!

Does this game support ps4 controller?

Dont know if you'll see this but I figured out why you were having issues with the GPS. I'm guessing here that you changed your keybinde for your inventory to TAB. TAB is also how you switch through vehicles. so just change your vehicle key to something else then you will be able to put the GPS don the correct vehicle. Hope that makes sense cause it does in my head.

Thanks for the video. Yeah machinery weight needs some tuning. There's still room for improvement there. Feels a bit silly having a 300 ton machine getting tossed around like a ragdoll at times (or yeeted halfway across the map in multiplayer....yes, I am looking at you, 400 rocktruck). Having said that, considering the size of the devteam, 4-5 people, the game has really come a long way in the past year alone. Hope you continue with the YT-thing, as I really enjoy your content, but completely support and understand IRL commitments too. Take care and I'll look forward to the next video.

You are definitely getting better at that dozer! And yes, running a YT channel seems to be more adaptable to a person who is single as it does rob one's family time considerably (and leaves you feeling guilty about it). I hope to get back to it someday (once this move and transition is complete) but in doing so I've had to refocus my goals from the desire to create a massive following to simply enjoying myself and occasionally make something fun to watch and be part of. Set the goal too lofty and it becomes a 2nd career. Good show!

Break checking you after passing! That's a special kind of rude. Carrots sure are lucrative, especially from a field that small, but even then it will take years to pay off that beast of a harvester. Guess that's why they pay so well compared to grain crops. Wheat from a field that size might bring in, what, $6000-$8000 if that? Guess you've got to spend it to make. Good show!

This map sure looks like the european small rural areas. Big collection of fields and narrow roads. Now only they need to add in selfish amateur cyclist hordes blocking everything and hogging the road and i'll feel at home 🤣

With the weekend coming up, I may give this game a go. I'm not a big fan of train games but this looks pretty good. I am a little worried about the recent reviews of it. Alot of talk about drama with devs which supposedly effected the direction of the game and alot of people recomending other railroad games instead but this game is newer than the recommendations so idk
