Eagle Ridge was Resort Quality when it first opened. It's in really rough shape now because they screwed up with their irrigation strategy. They tried to go for a Wall to wall green look and now can't maintenance the huge property. They should've gone Single line irrigation like they do in Palm Springs.

Eagle Ridge is a Great track on a beautiful piece of property. It's currently run down because of an overly ambitious wall to Wall irrigation style like Augusta National. If they change to Single line irrigation, and dormant Bermuda on the peripheral of the golf course like they do in Palm Springs, they could salvage the course.

I have played this course. Hole 4 I had an unusual thing. From the closest men tee. It landed in the fairway just perfect to attempt a cut. Went straight into the tree with a slight mishit. I heard a loud crack and assumed it hit the tree. It wasn’t there. It was maybe 30-100 yard beyond the tree still in the fairway. To this day I still haven’t figured out what happened. Any ideas?

Thanks for the refresher on Callippe, AJ. My club plays here tomorrow so it was a good reminder how treacherous the back nine can be. Although, you made it look easy.

It's a nice way to showcase the course. Most vlogs try to be "entertaining", this was more about the course and the challenges on it. I enjoyed that.
