@lukewalker79 yes and no. They both have the same optimal ttk but KC is more forgiving needing 2 crits and one body for optimal ttk. MCK needs all crits for optimal ttk. So if you're hitting all headshots, then yeah, go for MCK but if not, KC will be better. Also KC is more forgiving if you're only hitting body shots needing 4 body shots for optimal ttk while MCK will need 6 body shots to hit the same ttk.

@lukewalker79 that's a good question. The main difference will be on the archetype of the weapon. For this sidearm, both have the optimal ttk of .50 if all four shots are crit hits. BUT, because KC has a higher damage buff than MKC, there's more forgiveness depending on the resilience level. For example, tier 7 and lower you get the optimal ttk of .50 seconds with 3 crits and 1 body using KC. With MCK, you'll need to hit all 4 crits for the same .50 ttk. The same goes for body damage. It'll take 6 hits for a .83 ttk with KC. With MCK, it'll be 1.0 ttk needing 7 body shots. Hopefully, this clears it up a bit for you. Both are good, but KC is slightly better because it's more forgiving for this sidearm. Thanks for watching!

@@BlindedMarksman not sure in my play testing definitely feels snappy when no teammates are around but I have not really had enough games with the enhanced version I am now running to see if this or closing time might be better.

@BlindedMarksman Only problem is this sidearm doesnt come with accurized, perpetual or opening shot, which propel the stats of redback way higher than the anonymous autumn. but I think precision instrument is very good as well. so with that said, I feel like, Lone Wolf, Enlightened Action or Zen Moment paired with enhamced Precision Instrement, with Ricochet, full bore and a range mw and ballistics mod might compete

No particular reason friend, this build really works with all weapons. Some will bring down the ttk like rapid frames and light frames but others will keep the same optimal ttk but make it more forgiving like high impact frames. I used this with ace of spades, and was able to 2-tap with radiant and memento mori. You can be very creative to optimize the ttk or just make it more forgiving. The choice is yours.

It needs more base stability and handling. Gun model saves it a bit.

@@brannonshea8424 there's another roll I got that I want to try. Elemental capacitor with moving target and using a stasis subclass for strafe speed, plus 10 recoil direction, and plus 10 aim assist

I hope this is something to consider. There's also Stompee's, wormhusk, Dargon Shadow, and if you can get a good exotic cloak, like spirit of the ophidans with spirit of the liar or spirit of the husk, those are all good options. Thanks for watching friend, I appreciate it

If you can find an exotic class item with Ophidian/Coyote that's currently the best exotic to use rn on hunter, in my opinion. Other than that, since you dont care about Knuckledhead Radar, Stompees or Wormhusk are still pretty much the go to regular exotics.

I know Aeon was around since Shadowkeep, what I was trying to get across was that it really hasn't been used over the past year or so since GM, quite frankly, is a lot easier and there's different ways to get heavy. Can someone please just plainly say how to get this? Is it in Trials only or can you get it from regular PVP?

@regan2010 I mentioned it after the intro. You can obtain it after completing three matches in the competitive playlist. If you never played comp, then you might have to do a quest line to unlock the competitive playlist
