With a good lens, the Canon 30D is still fantastic after 17 years!

These two cameras possess appropriate pixel size and density on sensors as a result, they produce beautiful images. Only wish, these were CCD sensors!

I recently bought a 20d after loosing a lot in a divorce, inc the dslr. I love it! The screen seemed so small but for photos it’s fine, and you can find them for less than 50 euros. But…I just found a 5d mkii and, actually….it’s so much better. In every way.

Love my 2 5D's. The color science reminds me of my first generation Fuji X cameras, specifically the X-M1 and X-Pro1. All a very fine gear indeed.

Question... Does the GX7 have lens focus resume? You turn it off focused at a certain distance - turn it back on and it fits right back to that distance?

Beautiful classic 5D colours. My favorite camera of all time.

Nice images. I suppose it would be good for all of us to use manual exposure settings from time to time but I use aperture priority on all my cameras, including the 5D, except when I need to maintain a relatively high shutter speed. Then I use shutter priority but you have to be willing to let the camera open up the shutter to its max aperture. If that is a problem, manual is the only way to go - but without auto ISO (in the 5D), you have to keep a close eye on exposure as you move around or the light changes. On my 6D, not only does it have auto ISO, you can specify minimum shutter speed in the ISO settings. That is hugely convenient when shooting an event or anything where things are moving constantly. That is also why I don’t use my 5D as a backup camera for events any more.

Canon Color, and of all the cameras Canon has made the 5D has the best colors of them all.

The 20D was one of my first digital cameras I got after I left Analogue/Chemical photography behind. It was truly a "tank" back in the days and really good quality. If we judge by todays standard its a bit of a toy of course, but when it was relapsed then it was ground breaking release (and it was expensive).

I also used to have a 5d Classic which I loved, but the mirror dropped out and after that I could not trust this model any longer, then I got a 5Dii instead which I still have today, never disappointed me.
