At 7min 30sec, you can see that 4 strokes are to powerful for 2strokes. Kind of unfair abit. How they did not see it is beyond me..

It's funny that when the guys came to race in Brazil they complained about the dust, look at this Austrian circuit, certainly nobody complains because it's in Europe.

The fact you need twice the cc 4 stroke to beat a 250 two stroke tells you everything you need to know 😆😆😆
The new 250f's smoke 250 two strokes all the time now in races here in the states. Being aloud twice the displacement was the nail in the 2 stroke coffin. 4 strokes make better race bikes ask any pro rider they'll tell you.

@@mareksumguy1887 the new ktm 250fs make 45hp on the Dyno at the wheel and the new ktm 250 2 strokes make 50 so only 5 hp different no much at all the 250f has 20lb trq as well at the wheel i don't knows what a 250 2 stroke has for torque. But a 450 has 54hp at the wheel and 33lbs torque at the wheel on a dyno.

one of the greatest races of all time. the fourstroke just edging out the two stroke really marked the deaths of the 250 two stroke at the top level. all down hill after this..... Historical moment

😢 Beirer suffered spinal injuries that left him paralyzed and ended his riding career...
This really was 4 stroke just beating 2 stroke. Flat fast track here and the dirt type really favors the 4 strokes torque.
Being that the yamaha was nearly twice the engine size of the Suzuki, a bit of an unfair advantage even if the RM was a 2 stroke . The Yamaha had better low down power and torque .
