Glad you found it useful … I would suggest using cash / MXN pesos… arrange for them at your bank as they will give you better exchange rate than at Mexico currency exchange places … you will find them at the airport where you would be landing but avoid that … how much you will take depends on what you are booking ( all inclusive vs other) but I took approximately 1500cad worth of MXN pesos . Next you can withdraw money from ATMs Cancun as well … get from ATMs of more popular Mexican banks (e.g. Santander / Banorte ) … hope you have a safe trip … Also there is one credit card that we use which does not charge foreign transaction fee (We live in Canada ) . it’s the Home Trust card .

@ my flight layover was less than 24 hrs .. the checked in luggage got through checked in for sure … if you are referring to the baggage that stored at the baggage services at Dubai airport, then that’s my carryon luggage which I didn’t want to haul around when traveling Dubai … hope that helps !

Can youy pls explain your question .. mode of transport from where to where ? Within Jaipur .. or Jaipur to Jaisalmer , within Jaisalmer ? Within the towns I preferred tuktuk/ auto rickshaw rides ( at times via Uber) .. from Jaipur to Jaisalmer I took overnight 3 AC train ( Leelan Express)

Yes it can be done … 2 adults in the front ( driver +1) , 2 adults at the back but they have to be careful with the 3 yr child … hope that helps ..

I had heard some stories of police taking bribe. As such I didn’t want to take any chances and hence decided to use local conveyance and found it to be convenient… that’s strictly my personal experience and choice as well ; hope that helps . Enjoy your vacation my friend.
