Yep, pretty slick by getting around needing to cut all those compound angles by making it a steel tubing and then coming back and cutting a 90 degree chunk out of the back of the wood. Pretty genius way to make it simple. I get the ideal, the wood is actually only to hold on the panels, it is not structural technically, but it adds to the structure strength.. I also realize all you had to do since the dome was made of steel tubing stacked on top of each other at the hubs, is to line up the wood frames so that the highest frame matches the lowest frame, and you screwed them all together so they all end up flush with each other. I think it is pretty genius way to reduce all the thinking and compound angles at the same time you still going to have a nice panelized dome that sits flush with itself.

Tom, How great to find you have another video out after not viewing one in some time. I do not expect you to remember me, but we met long ago in White River Jct., Vermont when you were lodging at the Comfort Inn across from the VA Finish Line, while promoting PTSD Awareness. At that time you put on a brief demonstration with Scrubs in the lobby for us. Well done with Courtney not only shooting the video, but work with Bruno as well as you. I was quite taken by Scrubs attention in the background during these sessions. The very best to the four (4) of you. Thank you again for 'your service'.
