I can’t remember if I said it already; the tissue house cover you are making is so cute! When you first showed your new toy I was like “oh my gosh!” 😂 but after a moment I thought “you know, that is a really fun way to choose your next color.” Definitely unique! I feel the same way about second striping socks. Second sock speedzone! 🏎️💨 When it hits 100 degrees here (WI) our pavement gets all dramatic and starts buckling. That’s pretty much how I feel about it, too. I would take a -20 degree day over a 100 degree day.

I have heard SlingTV is good for sports. We haven't had cable in 12 or 13 years. There's so many online options for entertainment that we really haven't missed it. You tissue box is going to be cute! Your swag is pretty nice too. I hope you are able to give away a lot of it.

Girl, I feel ya. Hubby and I went to the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts yesterday and went from home where it was 94F to 109F! I think our ticket price was worth it just for the AC😅

I guess dowels would work for the basket OR would some sort of stiffener as you use with your bags- if you crocheted it longer and folded it over? I would use a needle size for the multi colored blanket with a needle for the size of a 5 or 6 weight. I thot that blocking it would be a good idea before continuing?! I can’t hear your air conditioner - but your comment about exploding was hilarious! 😂😂😂❤❤

The Stained Glass blanket might need to be frogged and redone. I feel bad suggesting it, all that work. I hope to see you at the SoCal Fiber Fair.

For your Stained Glass Throw, I would try blocking it first. Is it acrylic yarn? If so, cover it with a heavy damp tower & leave it for a day or two. If it blocks out, you can continue with the same hook size or increase it. If it doesn't block out, you'll need to start over with a larger hook. Hope this helps.

What about adding a strand or two of yarn for the sides? What weight are you using? I use 4 strands of DK/Worsted, and I haven't done a fingering weight one yet but if I did I'd do 8 strands.

It shows that you appreciate the effort that goes into it, as well as their choice in fabric. There are so many different styles of bags out there, too.

I’m glad you didn’t need to evacuate - that was close! Yikes. I have had vertigo in the past and it seems to come back when my sinuses get congested. The Epley maneuver and other vertigo therapy exercises have been very helpful to me, especially if I start them when I just begin to feel “off”. I also take a sinus headache remedy if my ears feel “fuzzy”. It sounds like your rocks are a little different, but I hope you find some relief.

You're going to love that basket! I'm curious to know how many rounds for the base you're doing. So far I've only ever done the size of the pattern but I think I do want an even bigger one.
