I have found most inspectors do not have a lick of Common Sense they are hard to find and very few in between at 90% of them are scared to do anything fearing that they will make the wrong decision
You’re suppose to rinse 12” away from the part to prevent you from washing the penetrant out of any possible cracks. And the banging the part to remove the developer… you’re suppose to use shop air at 6 psi. Just wondering after seeing you developer station how do you do your control process to see if your developer is contaminated?
Being the supervisor of a parts finishing department of a precision parts shop, I am cringing in horror while watching you bang the part over and over to remove the developer. There has to be a less abusive way to do that procedure.
wtf are you doing please never do penetrant testing ever again. both your dye and developer application methods are trash and should be re evaluated, i hope this is a joke. you are a lev.3? god i hope not. i feel sorry for whom ever has ran parts through your business.

You need to be keeping that sprayer 12 inchs away from the part as well as the 40 psi. Smh we need standard in this field
You're right on that one. Remember NADCAP is watching. Lol
