I started playing the guitar when I was seventeen
Dreamed of becoming a star… But then life happened and now I am in my late mid 30’s
I am a father and Now I have got time again
To pursue my passion for playing music
And Maybe I am not that cool kid with the hottest riff.
who can play everything, and knows it all, But that should never hold anybody back
And this is the place where I am going to take you along on my musical journey.

@@BOMBPHONICS great to hear, have lots of fun and musical inspiration with it!
this was super cool to watch, thanks a lot
I have had one for 2 years and I mic it up with a sm57 and I get compliments all the time on how good it sounds. The tone downloads are a + as well.
Great video. I have the same guitar. The only thing I changed, is that I put a vintage ashtray bridge on it with vintage barrels. I have a question for you. I noticed that your bridge and neck pick ups are further away from the strings. What are the measurements on your pickup height on bridge and neck? I'm okay with mm, since I grew up in Europe. Thanks in advance, greetings from San Diego, CA
Hi, thank you very much! Will measure it. But to be honest never really looked at it, just put them in and left it like this..
Great introduction on how to start unlocking the telecaster. Thank you for sharing.
Glad it was helpful!
Excellent guide. I'm waiting for my one in the post, and I feel far less intimidated by the workflow after watching this, Thankyou!
Glad it was helpful!
hi NTCK, is it okay you use a 12-53 string gauge to that 214 CE plus?
Why not?
@ would it become more bassy if you use 12-53?
No idea have not tried that.
Very nice tutorial ❤ subbed❤
Thanks for the sub!
I think Paul Bigsby beat Leo to the first solid body guitar when he built his prototype in 1947, Leo is credited with the first production solid body.
Thanks for the great video. You mentioned that you don't like that effects (i.e. delay etc) are not always on the same pedal. You can change that in the settings by the way. Per default, the fender mustang GTX adds the first effect on pedal 1, the second on pedal 2 and so on. It basically follows the effect chain as one would do on a pedal board. For me that is confusing as I never know which pedal holds which effect. In the "Footswitch" menu option, just select "category". Now the effects of the same kind (distortion, delay, reverb, chorus etc.) are always on the same pedal no matter which preset or bank you are in. After 10 minutes you have it and will never have to guess which effect is on which pedal.
Thnx for the tip!! Will check it out!
It's wierd how Gretsch is not really a household name, considering all the great features it has. I think they need to have a solid PR campaign that would give them the spotlight it deserves. I only play Gretsch and PRS. THAT'S all. I may buy a Gibson in future... MAY.
Well currently looking for a Harmony or Heritage for my “les paul” humbucking needs… Gibson still feels a bit overpriced…
It is a real pity that Fender does not make available the Tone app for Mac o Windows... only works in smart phones and tablets.
I think they have done this on purpose. They had Fender Fuse for Windows with the Mustang v.2 years ago. I think most people prefer the ability to use iPad or phone with Bluetooth instead of usb connection with computer.
does this model work with the fender tone phone app+
The app used around 12:30?

You might have mentioned in the video that the foot switch is extra with the gtx50, but comes with the gtx100, so you're essentially going to be paying the same price for the 50W as you will for the 100W. Also, since it doesn't have an attenuator built in, do you control the volume just by keeping the master control turned down? How does that work as far as the quality of the tone coming out of the speaker with the master volume turned down?
I just turn down the volume and it just works good (enough) you allways mis a bit from the speaker not working that hard on te low-low levels…
Talking too much. I wanna hear the reverb, not your voice.
Then buy and try it!
The Electromatic’s are pretty nice I have a Pro Jet with the black top filtertrons in it but I also have a 6120 Nashville 1960 that I’ve owned for the past 20 years and it’s definitely the real deal. I love my 6120, someone would have to cough up some serious cash to get me to part with it.
A vintage one is still on my list… but for now to much other stuff on my list…
Tof man! Prs is ook mooi spul!
I use a Behringer B -1 at the front and a SM57 at the rear.
great overview! Thanks for making this video. I'm curious about using third-party plugins with the controller version of Push -- did you manually map the encoders/knobs to control that Waves compressor at 26:12? Or does Push automatically assign encoders to the different parameters of any third-party plugin when you open one?
Hi, thank you for your nice comment. It was automatically mapped
Wasn't bored, rather curious if you have any different insights for loving the Microfreak. After four minutes, I am bored and lost my curiosity.
Well what where you looking for?
Nice demo
Can you record bass on a 20W amp using this microphone?
Dont know if it has the best sound characteristic for bass, I havent tried, but yes you could.
When you played that choir, I nearly cried. Thankyou. So inspired.
I've had this amp for a few years and recently added a Sheeran looper X to the setup. It's awesome for at-home playing!
“And now, let’s go to the…bridge pickup”. Immediately changes to the neck pickup 😂😂 Also, it would sound a lot better if it was in tune!
If went to buy a 214ce but walked out with a 314ce. The solid wood is worth it. The very base model 214 would be a great first guitar though.
Tried the 314ce also but didnt like it, i am more of a rosewood guy
I'm a Gretsch fan, and something of a collector. My preference is for the MIJ Pro series models; the overall quality is simply outstanding (IMHO, they rival some other manufacturers' custom shops offerings). I have, uh . . . too many? Nope, not yet. There's no doubt about the Korean-made Electromatics being very good--near premium--instruments. I have some of those, too. These days most of the Electromatics I see are crafted in China; however, the QC now comes very close or matches what was formerly produced in Korea (I have several with no QC issues). The lower tier entry line, Streamliners, are made in China and Indonesia. I've tried a few, but I've only kept a G2410TG. That Streamliner had what I thought was a 3-way switch issue, but it turned out to be a case of miss-wired volume pots. I kept the pickups, but replaced all the pots, the switch, and the jack. Now it's a keeper. Gretsch is something of a unique experience. These instruments, at their commensurate levels, are good, much better, and astoundingly amazing. Get the best you can afford--you won't regret it.
Those dreadful selector switches….
Most of the reviews are from three or four years ago. Don't care about crappy blue tooth. I'm looking for a long term review. Thanks.
Wahhhh
Maybe write it like Kingpin.....
Thnx
Open and erect, eh?

I like your enthusiasm and I'm going to sell a few of my guitars and buy one, thanks!
@@peterneuhart9115 well dont just buy it because I like it, it is always a personal choice!
I love Taylor guitars. Actually some laminate guitars are the best sounding. A lot of Martins are laminate as well and they're very popular too. I never base my decision on the materials used in a guitar as long as they're a quality built guitar that's known to hold up well over the years. I always base my decision on feel and tone. My Taylor sounds better every year it seems. I have three Taylors now and none needed a setup or any tweaking whatsoever...perfect action, spot on intonation and they stay in tune very well.
I have this amp and play it with my PRS SE Standard 24-08. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I just can't get a nice tone. I would like to have a nice (80's-ish) rock sound for playing lead, thats why I even bought a might red distort pedal (mad prof). But can't make it sound good. I'm a self-taught player (4years), with some help of youtube legends. Could someone please help me, because it really demotivates me to play more guitar... :(
This sounds not right to me to abrusive and harhs the high freqencies are overwhelming. So this is not for me, i think i will try the NUX BT 20 MK2 or 40 instead we will see. Thanks anyway.
Thanks!
I found this video really valuable.
Gosh it’s a no brainer. Still rocking with the push 2 and yes I probably need to upgrade but I wouldn’t go any further than the controller mode. Without vst support - you c could basically buy a MacBook Air or almost a pro aswell as a controller. Better value and must better cpu. I could just imagine the battery is good but will degrade in time so it’ll end up being a controller long term. The lack of an xlr is crazy aswell as secondary headphones. I could even get a native instruments mk3 plus a push 3 and still be miles ahead
I must say that the quality of the video is absolutely great! I agreed, the phaser is an amazing effect and very versatile
Great review! That amp has some good tones. I think i'll buy it next week. A simple question, can I use this amp in my bedroom without anoying my neighborhoods and without losing tone quality?
Hi, thank you! Well depends on where you place it in the room and your neighbors… you allways need to pass a certain threshold for the speakers to become “active”. But i can see the level is way lower then tube amps, and else you can allways get a pair of headphones…
@@NotThatCoolKid Thanks for answering. I live in a three-story apartment and I think I will have no problems with family or neighbors. In any case I'll have my headphones on hand. Thanks for the information. It has been a great help to me. Cheers!
I see you aren't barring the bottom 2 strings on the F?. I'm just a beginner so having to bar the strings on this chord gets messy for me on about the 3rd verse so this would be a godsend!
I dont fully bar but use thumb on t low E and index on het B and E
Great! Do you know if its possible to use analogic pedals with this amp?
Havent tested that. Bought it with the idea of not having to use it with pedals..
Just set the GTX amp to a really Clean channel setting and let your pedals do their thing. Same with an Effects Processor/Modeler
Not Good at all. Purchased it and tried about 1 week. Absolutely buggy bluetooth. Just does not work. When you switch betwenn the sounds or try to run through the backstage it just hang up until switched on/off. Last drop for me was guitar disconnection caused by bluetooth. Sent back to the Seller. Just computer toy. Purchased boss then. Satisfied. Not such flexible bluetooth but works. Can not advise GTX50 just due to the bluetooth issues. Sound is good. Ideas inside of the software are good too. But it simply does not work well for me. And it looks like fender can not or just does not like to fix bluetooth issues.
Did you try multiple unit or could this be just a one off faulty unit?
@@NotThatCoolKid I tried LT50 too. But there is no Bluetooth. Sound was about the same quality not big difference. My GTX50 was not faulty. It was not fault but definetely buggy software. I discovered that it is not good especially play to it from the phone via bluetooth. Then problem come faster. If you just switch presets it is better. But in any case problem come in the end. And only reload of the unit (on/off) helps. Software itself has good ideas. I liked that. But I need to switch and use it. Do not like to dance around the unit to make it run well. So I end up with Katana. Luckely had 30 days return.
@@ivanl1370 Ok.. because I have never had problems with the Bluetooth connection... So I am curious if this is a one of problem or not... but based on this we can;t define that.
Great video thanks. This looks a great little pedal. I have the Sloer but this would probably have been enough for me ! Love the synth you've got too
I've had one of these for a couple of years and it's great fun for mucking around at home , so many great clean sounds in it. Distortion isn't great, overdrive is OK. Very versatile and adjustable, has saved me fortune in not buying delay/chorus/reverb effects pedals (so far...) Works great with a looper. The app is brilliant. Would recommend for beginners/intermediate.
