Luang Prabang is easily on our list of the best places in Southeast Asia, we explored the city thoughtfully, and actually extended our stay. The best highlights are culture and laid-back atmosphere.

I enjoyed your journey. My wife and I travelled on the second boat to go to Luang Prabang after COVID lifted. There were only 11 of us on board and the villagers were super surprised to see Farang on the river again. We were the only boat running when we travelled. We stayed at the Riverside where the two rivers meet (great price due to COVID!). Luang Prabang is super chill - we loved it!
