Hi, Its an exercise with the E minor scale up and down which is the basis of "Spanish romance" but there is much more to the tune. I have a student working her way up to that so we have a few exercises to help her get the basic scale and finger pattern down first. Spanish Romance is a good tune to work towards but you also need the A min and B7 bar shapes plus the second half of the tune goes to E major. But yes its meant to be in that style which many early classical/Spanish studies use. well spotted.

Yes I like using guitar pro 7/8 as I transcribe and edit sheets for my students. I have just started to think about uploading the sheets for access and play along so if useful I will upload more.

Yes top line is the key of C version so the same method would be applied for each row just in different keys. I know you like G so try that line but if you would like me to do a follow up video to expand please let me know and will do when I get Chance.

Fair enough. So sharps and flats are the black notes on the piano in between the white notes. Originally there was less notes in the musical system a very long time ago and these nodes were added in at a later time. The sharps/flats are notes in between the main notes A B C D E F G . We call these sharps when we ascend or flats when we descend. But they are basically the same note. So if you start on your A string on the ukulele and go to the first fret it's an A Sharp or B Flat. what you call it depends on the direction you are going in or if a particular key or scale has been written one way or the other. I know it seems difficult to start with so work with the chromatic scale going up with sharps and back down with flats to start with. If you need a video explainer I will add to my list haha. Thanks buddy will give it a touch up soon and have a few versions. Was playing piano while watching the show and just blew me away. I might just also be one of the first musicians to compose a piece of music to the sound of Mars. Maybe. Haha
