Hochstehende Brass Musik seit 1989
Die Band
1989 gegründet mit dem Ziel die Brass Band Musik der Region Bern zu fördern und zu bereichern, hat sich die Regional Brass Band Bern zu einer der führenden Formationen der 1. Stärkeklasse der Schweizer Brass Band Szene entwickelt.
Erfolge
Die jährlichen Teilnahmen am Schweizer Brass Band Wettbewerb in Montreux mit bereits neun Podestplätzen und den 2003, 2011, 2014 und 2021 errungenen Schweizermeistertiteln bestätigen dies.
Auch im Ausland
Mit Auftritten unter Anderem in Deutschland, Holland, Frankreich und England, präsentiert sich die Band von Zeit zu Zeit auch dem ausländischen Fachpublikum und wurde dafür stets mit Preisen ausgezeichnet.

Bereits im Namen angedeutet und durch zahlreiche Auftritte über das Jahr verteilt, spricht die RBB ein breites Publikum mit ihren Konzerten in der Stadt und Region Bern an.

Habt ihr eine Wette verloren, dass Mamma Mia und The Winner Takes It All dermaßen schnell gespielt wurden ? Mamma Mia im Original 138 bpm / The Winner Takes It All im Original 126 bpm. Beide Stücke lieblos mit je 165 bpm heruntergefetzt. Und dem Dirigenten scheint es auch noch zu gefallen... MAMMA MIA !

Why are players putting their instruments down when not playing ? You need to keep them warm for when have to come back in
Great piece of music but why is it called “Excalibur” ? Parts of it sound quite “Dave Brubeck”
As a percussionist , I hate how top band won’t fork out money to buy a decent waistcoat uniform for the percussion section
