Almost unquestionably THEE most elegant car from the period. Dad bought mom a convertible when it was around three years old... Oh, how we all LOVED that car! It was that Fleetwood Maple Glow color and had dark brown and dark russet leather and a tan Haartz top. Cadillac option wire wheels and Vogues... What a beautiful and elegant car it was! Sadly, they sold it back around 1990. I sure wish I could track it down.

It's a amazing car and drawing

What a beautiful car, left a like and Sub!

My very first 'driver' at age 15! The copper-brown paint looked kinda snazzy with the fake wood slab sides. Had a lunky, anemic 318 with that troublesome lean-burn electronic system. But oh, it was absolute FREEDOM to me. My brand new license, my best buddy, FM radio and an entire city to explore. On my own - no adults - thus it was MY terrible malaise era mobile, and proud of it! Thick, padded leather, plush carpet, the chrome bezels and trim made the dash look like a box of jewels. Ours was equipped with the optional built-in OEM CB radio - part of the AM/FM radio head unit - somewhat of a bizarre upgrade...and endlessly entertaining for us teenagers. Will always be a special car to me. Nifty drawing. Needs some rust for authenticity.

I was born in the fifties and grew up around Cadillac 75's a lot. What I think these 'stretch' models miss out on is having a raised roofline or at least roof/door cuts to make entry and exit easier. Even the famous Lehman-Peterson Lincoln limousines of the sixties offered an optional raised roofline. There's a famous photo of HM Queen Elizabeth II exiting out of Nixon's Lincoln and having her knees practically at chest level because it sat so low. Fun for parties, I guess. Fun video here!

This is absolutely my favorite Cadillac besides the 1990 Fleetwood But how beautiful of a limousine would this have been I also wonder about like an 8786 continental or mark 7 limousine how beautiful it would have loved You sure draw good I had an 84 with a blue top and navy blue interior
