Sorry for such a late reply, the old cafe that was in the centre of the park was destroyed by fire some years ago to be replaced by the timber clad brick building which I refer to as the fort or stockade, also the boat house and adjoining budgie cage was also destroyed along with the boat house, no more boats on the pool anymore, a couple of years ago there were pedalo's shaped like Swans but they didn't show up this year, living near the town it only takes me around 10 mins to get to the park, the scooter is a godsend to me being unable to walk anymore due to balance problems, a far cry from when I used to go out every other sunday with the West Bromwich Ramblers group, nowadays I am in the park most days birdwatching, thank you for your comment, it is much appreciated, Mike

Hi Jennifer, quite a few people have mentioned the steadiness of the camera, on the front of my scooter which is a Shoprider Cadiz is a large shopping basket which I attach my Gopro Hero 9 to the front of that using a very strong clip which holds the camera very steady and coupled with the camera's image stabilisation does a pretty good job, the scooter is a class 3 and licenced for road use as well as pavement, it weighs 101Kgs, has 13" wheels, good ground clearance and full suspension all round ,my other camera DJI Pocket 3 with built in Gimbal gives better results but I tend not to use that on the scooter, that is used more for when I am walking, music is all from the free TH-cam audio library, glad you got home safely, Mike
