1996, I was 15. The year I fell head over heals in love with formula 1. I watched every race that year multiple times. For years every time I hear this song I remember this footage. I had It recorded on a VHS that I must have watched 1000 times. I haven't seen it in probably 28 years, thank you for uploading it, you have brought a tear to my eye and made me feel 15 again.

I like the fact that Microprose re-used those clips for Grand Prix 4 despite being the 2001 season. I always thought those videos were originally from GP4, only to later figure out that they are actually from Grand Prix 3 2000.

This is a great summary of the race and has far better content than the Official Season Review. Until just now, I'd not seen some of this footage like Villeneuve being repassed by Alesi and then making it stick, Hakkinen passing Salo, Berger chasing Brundle out of the pits and Gerhard then chasing Hill. There is the odd error, like omitting to mention how Schumacher passed Villeneuve originally (as another comment mentions) and saying Villeneuve passed Alesi a lap after his original attempt, when in reality it was two corners later, but this is gold. I'm guessing a lot of the extra footage came from the F1 Digital service, which launched just a couple of races earlier that year.
