Don't stand over your saw, stand to the side a bit b/c of kickback, line it up first then take your proper stance b4 the cut. Don't keep your leg in harms way like that, just roll the log and cut as usual. Don't be afraid to set the saw down and restart it (they don't like to idle too long). It's good anti lazy habits that keep from bleeding out. Use your brake when you're not cutting and it's idle for significant periods, it's a good habit. 2 cents.

Imo you're gonna save your back some strain if you don't drop start bent over like that, instead pinch the saw between your knees with a slight squat while keeping yourself as upright as possible instead of bending over. Probably safer too. Look at some video of forestry workers, they start like this.

i have and unbranded 52cc thats realy more like 50cc i worked out i can put a 48mm sx62 bore and stihl piston on it using a sx62 pin bearing but will require more than 2mm base gasket but would get a 58cc chainsaw the original barrel had a huge combustion chamber and squish was also massive, you can also get three port mufflers where this one only had a single port

Hi mate, did you find that this fix lasted ok? I have a 660 clone and the tensioner is a real dog. Won't mesh on either the original or a replacement kit.

The speakers have a powerful magnetic in them, sometimes when they sound like this it’s because that have little bits of metal stuck in there

If you're not using the correct voltage battery it won't spark. I tried the recommended voltage and no spark. I updated to 7.2 volts and it runs great just some fuel adjustments.

Hi there, thank you for this video. I changed mine over and for a little while everything worked perfectly. Now the resistor has burned out again leaving me with just the full setting working on the fan. Any other ideas of what I might need to look at before replacing again so that the same doesn’t happen again.

I know this video is many years old now, but I have just bought a SX82 and am upgrading various parts with Husky 372XP bits for reliability. I have a Husky chain tensioner which is a longer bolt now with a screw head on it. I had hoped to see how you drilled out the cover to fit the longer bolt, and if this mod will work. I won't need to weld a nut on it as it has a groove in it now. Has anyone attempted this mod? Will drilling it out work?

Just trying to put back together a Masport with the same Briggs & Stratton engine. I can’t figure out where the end of that governor spring attaches exactly? Potentially missing parts. But I can’t seem to get the rod/lever to spring back when adjusting the throttle cable/speed.
