    Question : does the handle turn the bike rather easily ? I had a little tykes and didn’t like the way the steering wheel handled

      Sorry for the late reply, but better late than never! Hope all is well with you. I have to admit, it does not have the best turning reaction time but for the price point and the fact it becomes a standalone tricycle without the handle once the little one figures out how to pedal, it's works for us!

    To use the ride mode for paddling, does it require any changes in the paddle wheel?

    • @dadsncoffee6461
      @dadsncoffee6461 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      My apologies for the late reply, and I hope you had luck with the bike in my absence. To go from ride mode to dad/parent mode you just pull the red disc by the pedals inward and outward to go from each mode.

    Can you disable the pedals? My kids 2 and doesn't need the grey footrest but idk if he's ready to start pedaling

    • @dadsncoffee6461
      @dadsncoffee6461 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! hope all is well. To disable the pedals as you may have figured out already is to pull the red disc/circle by the pedals. It should disengage them allowing them to not spin when the wheel is. hope this helps!

    How did you get the handles to stay in because the clamp on ours won’t stay and when you pick it up by the handles it comes off. Just bought it this afternoon and I have been fixing it and no luck and it’s very frustrating.

      We just bought ours and are having the same issue. Were you able to figure out how to fix it?

    How is the steering from the parent steering thingy? I hear mixed reviews like it was to tough to turn or it was easy to. What would you say?

    • @dadsncoffee6461
      @dadsncoffee6461 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Toni, thanks for your question! To be honest, the steering does get tricky now and then but nothing I am ever concerned about. Sometimes you'll turn the parent steering handle and it doesn't respond to your turn so you have to do it again for it to go. So the handle itself adjusts for various heights and I find when I use it higher (I am taller than my wife) it is less response versus when it's at the lowest setting, so that's something to consider when using - use it at lower setting. All that aside, from my experience, it doesn't bother me really. Hard to think about it when I am focused on how happy my daughter is using it lol we are still using it and it's winter here!

      Amazing! I hope your son enjoys it as much as my daughter does. Sometimes it's hard to get her off it lol. I love that it transitions so she can eventually learn to peddle herself. Probably by spring time. Let me know his reaction :)

    Are the tires quiet?

    • @dadsncoffee6461
      @dadsncoffee6461 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The tires are plastic so you will hear it. It's not overly loud. If you're looking for quiet tires, I would either get something that has rubber wheels or what a friend did was add a rubber weather stripping around the wheel. Hope that helps and thanks for watching :)
