Can I somehow use the Steam Link to stream my Windows Desktop as well? I bet there is a way, but how?
A bugg actually. Sometimes if you enter an game and then stop streaming and go back in without closing the game and then close the game you get into yiur desktop

@@gunterandersson That definitely works especially with Win10/11Pro setups. But I was rather interested of the *Steam link* here. Steam link does show the “desktop locked” view at least.

what about NON STEAM games? what about DESKTOP access? None. "Perfect" app... So i'll use Moonlight till Nvidia stop supporting SHIELD streaming. And then i switch to Sunlight - this two app is fast, lightweit, easy2use and perfectly support WOL.
When i stream a game on my handeld the controle doesnt work. How do i make it work?

Hey man thanks for this video me and my college teacher have been trying to set this up on an old pc as a device to connect my tv downstairs to my pc upstairs and trying to export games was a nightmare but your video was amazing and clear and love the fact that you respond to the comments and help your viewers out. i was searching for how to stream steam games from my PC to my Laptop and found this video extremely helpful because of how the title of COMPLETELY matches the content. wtf are you even on about
This only applies to local network, right?
No it works remotely too. You have to setup the initial steam link connection with the devices on the same network, but once linked together the remote device should be able to connect to the host PC from anywhere. I just tried this by connecting to my host PC through steam link on my phone while connected to my home wifi. Then i turned wifi off on my phone so it was using the mobile phone network. I was still able to connect to the host PC, although the performance was very poor.

I've Moonlight on my Chromecast, and in it I've a link to Playnite (on my pc), so it opens PN directly on my tv, without further steps 😊
Definitely an option as well! I like being able to launch directly into games, but both get you going.
for life of me couldn't get steam to stream the game i wanted or at all then found windows standalone app on steam form idk why its not natively available for windows. Just wanted to be able to play AC Valhalla on my tv in my room or on my laptop to witch both the pc's are just basic systems ones an older micro pc i think intel 4th gen and laptop is just basic 6th gen one i got cheap and mostly use to do networking in the house and For emails and banking
its unsafe to log into your bank account on a browser. you really should only use your banks mobile app for online banking as its the most secure method. Your computer may at some point be infected with spyware without your knowledge. However, your phone almost certainly will not.
But why do I link the steam account together? Steam lnke. Ola Khasoub, the core of the computer screen, Ola phone, instead of the jungle, I have Ola. Steam. Please reply.
Getting my gcloud today. Would a better option to be just to add play nite as an app to sunshine and just use that to pick? Thanks again for the videos, looking forward to messing with the gcloud

That would definitely work. I like being able to have a closing script though for any emulated games.

Doesn't bother me in the least. Everyone has their own opinions. Doesn't change mine.
After adding the sunshine playnite extension, Playnite no longer will start and asks if I want to run in safe mode.
You might check to see if you've got the most up to date version of the extension
I have moonlight on my tv and when it gives the 4 digit code, I add it to sunshine pairing and it paring failed. Any tips?

how do you wake up your PC remotely when you’re outside?
I used to use a raspberry pi, but now I just only set the monitors to sleep. I just leave my computer on all the time.

Hi im using my iphone moonlight app but all games are working but my touchpad controls is not working can you help me?
Unfortunately I've always used a physical controller. Might check the sunshine settings and see if there's anything related to touch input there.
I do not use moonlight because I have an AMD gpu. the fact that you use Moonlight on the G-Cloud (that I also own) means that it wouldn't work for me right ? Unless Sunshine does something I don't understand. So far, I'm using Parsec which works fine but having another interface would be nice too. Cheers.
Sunshine is actually GPU agnostic. It'll work with Nvidia, AMD or Intel.

Was hoping i can get some help with exporting the games to sunshine When it's time to export there's an error that shows up Failed to execute menu action. Exception calling "ShowDialog" with "0" argument(s): "Access to the path 'C:\Program Files\Sunshine\config\apps.json' is denied." I don't know how to fix this problem, please give me some guidance 😅
If you go to that file path, do you see that apps.json file there?

Hey I’m having problem with moonlight sunshine. The host's concurrent stream limit has been reached. Stop an existing stream or increase the 'Channels' value in the Sunshine Web UI.
It sounds like Sunshine thinks that you've got more than one stream going. You can raise the steam limit in the sunshine settings under Configuration > Advanced > Channels. But you may also have some network issues causing problems as well.
Sunshine opens and immediately closes. Do you know what the problem could be?
Hmmm. Is it open in the system tray? Do you see the icon down by the clock?
@@UntetheredGaming Yes. They are duplicated in the system tray endlessly. There can be 15 of them, for example, but if you hover your mouse over them, they disappear, and then over time are added again one by one.
@@UntetheredGaming I updated the drivers for the video card in the processor and everything worked. The drivers nvidia were updated and the ones amd were out of date. Now everything works.
That's awesome! Glad you figured it out. I love PC gaming, but it can be unpredictable when trying to go outside the norm.
