As per my knowledge , this RR Unit main function is to recharge your existing battery . Mine is Thunder Bird 500 cc (Self Start ). One can start the bullet by kick start if the battery is down where battery must not be removed. But in your case, it seems the latest RR units are coming with inbuilt Electromagnetic field , which helps to kick start even when the battery is removed.

Mera meteor bike 4-5 din key badh batterry drain hota raita tha. Battery change kiya phir bhi waisa huwa. Phir wiring harness change kiya aba thik hai. Lekin mera dost ka meteor 15 20 din key badh start karnese ek hi baar main start hota hai. Usney to abho tak battery bhi change nahi kiya hai.
