Nice runthrough of the reality of living with the Wheeltop system. You mention that the battery level via App is... well... meh ;-) Does it pair correctly with a head unit? In particular does it provide useful information about battery status? Less important, does it show gears correctly?

what stem is it?

FYI: if you ever get shifting issues that you can't diagnose, it's the plastic cable *mounts* that go into the frame near the headset. You can buy new mounts (with attached 'internal routing' tubes) for a few quid of giant bike spares. Common issue with this frame - easily solved (I have the frame, have had it - and a close friend had similar issues!)

I'm a little late to the discussion but, wanted to add a comment about the saddle you show on the bike. I had issues as well a few months back and this saddle, the Pro Stealth, literally saved my A$$, etc. hope you have similar results.

1000 kms!? That is not much. I believe this groupset requires much more finicking than the other major brands. Please present your cohost!
