Good video, but a couple of suggestions: For accurate results, you should first calibrate your TinySA for the frequency range you intend to test. I would also point out that spurious emission testing needs to be performed at all the transmission power levels of the radio and for each vfo of the radio. I would suggest when setting the harmonics to show another alternative to typing the fundamental frequency in twice. The second time consider typing in something from 400kHz to 800kHz to see the signal shapes at the fundamentals, as it gives a better idea of whether the signals have any issues. Regarding the line drawn at -16.02dBm, I think it’s important to state what this line represents and how it’s calculated. The line represents the maximum level at which non-fundamental harmonics are allowed by the FCC (i.e., spurious emissions), which is 25µW at the antenna base. To calculate the line value, you take 25µW and divide by 1,000, which is .025mW. You then take log base 10 of that to get approximately -1.6020599, which you then multiply by 10 to get -16.020599dBm, rounded to -16.02dBm (approximately 25µW). So harmonics that fall below this value are legal and those that are over are considered illegal spurious emissions. On the TinySA you can calculate the value of the spurious emission by taking the fundamental strength and adding the dBc value shown for each harmonic. So, for example, a fundamental of 35.1dBm and a secondary harmonic of -52.5dBc would give a harmonic (spurious emission) strength of -17.4dBm (or 18µW), which is a pass, because it’s less that 25µW. A fundamental of 30.4 with a harmonic of -44.6 would give a harmonic strength of -14.2 (or 38µW), which would be a fail, even though the harmonic is down 40db from the fundamental. So, in that case the first part of the rule passed at -44.6db down from the fundamental strength, but fails the second part of the rule by still exceeding 25µW.

No luck on the DX from the salt waters inside the San Francisco Bay but i'll be on plenty from two sides (SF and Marin) of the SF Bay. Wishing you fun POTAs and running great pile ups.
