A little bit of everything from cars, lawns, houses, woodwork, and everything in between, which includes repairing, breaking, remodeling, upgrading, and making items for any of the aforementioned. Most importantly, it is "Do It You." If you do it, then it is all You. You aren't DIYing, if you aren't TRYing! No large production/industrial/factory type tools are used. Includes product reviews of items used in pursuit of DIYing.
The channel is about putting personal effort in to doing something yourself. Why spend money when you don’t necessarily have to? Sometimes a simple fix solves the problem. I believe everyone should be willing to try to fix something before replacing it. If you break something in the process of attempting to repair it. It’s okay. Failure is always a lesson, but don’t give up. Be a DIYer!

This was supposed to make bleeding brakes easier. I am not so sure that it did at all. I still need to try it on several other cars before I pass judgement though. The brakes on a 1997 Toyota Century V12 didn't improve at all. I did four rounds of brake bleeding all the way around the car to no avail. I'll be testing it on a 2016 Land Rover LR4 next. I'm going to remove mine (although trying to avoid) to find a rattle I believe that's coming from behind the panel. When you took yours off, did you see anything that be loose enough to banging around?
I don’t think you have issues with safety valve. You have a problem with motor control. Safety valve is not a car sensor. Has nothing on it except a spring and pin, which you can adjust the pressure too. But problem is that the motor keeps running after reaching the pressure,
Good info. Thanks!
No problem
Every. Freaking. Time. On every video….no one covers taking that clip off the inside door until yours. Thank you!
No problem. Glad to help out. Thanks for watching.
Best to use a paint tray and roller , spray the contents of the bed liner spray can into the tray and roll it on the panels, easier to work with and leaves a nice looking texture .
Good to know information. Thanks
I just wanna know why my 2021 F-150 don’t like to take gas at full handle power… smfh
I can't answer that one.
Really great work mate, once again
Thanks. I appreciate the positive reinforcement.
it’s good so idc anyway
Okay. Not sure what that means. Take care!
i bought mine 15 years ago still use it to this day
That's awesome that you've had it that long and it's worked for you
Thanks for the reply! How do I remove the plastic covers to access the actual pivot that needs lubrication? I tried squirting some silicone in the gaps but that doesn’t seem to do it.

Are you having the pedel go to the floor to stop if so some people have had issues with the booster lately.
It was going to the floor previously and still does, so I am not really seeing much of a difference. May need to try traditional bleeding method to see what happens
@@RoCDIY the booster went bad for a friends century and that’s how he described it he was just driving it normally and then it just failed went to the floor and it was terrible.
@@ghzhammer Definitely not what I want to hear at this point. So much has been replaced on this vehicle in the last five months. I did notice there is a bleed valve on the booster, but it doesn't do anything. Nothing comes out, brake in or out, vehicle on or off.
@@RoCDIY you’re much better importing your own century or getting one that has been fully gone through. A lot of the imports I’ve seen are really, really not good cars. I think the dealers are importing the cheapest thing at auction because even if it’s half broken and they buy it for 3000 they can sell it for 10 to 15. With that said you can buy a secondhand booster in Japan and ship it here probably for around 150 or get yours rebuilt I can find out who rebuilt my friends.
@@ghzhammer I will definitely need to look into a booster rebuild, but not until it is for sure the issue. Too many possibilities at this point.
Thanks for the videos! My 2010 non-power mirrors are really hard to fold in. Not sure how to lubricate them. What would you suggest?
Don't put anything on the outside moving parts of the mirror. Grease needs to go on the metal swivel points on the inside
Was your compact tractor able to unload the Versa Tube pallets from the truck. Was the truck/trailer a flatbed or a boxed truck/trailer? I have a 1400 load capacity on my FEL, wondering if this will be enough to unload. Don't want to pay the $300 Vera Tube wants to unload it. Size of carport will be 12x24x9.
It was on a flatbed truck. I think you will be able to offload yourself. You can ask them to make sure they don't bundle anything over a certain amount of weight (ex: 1,000lbs). It doesn't cost you more. This was what they were supposed to do for me, but they didn't. Call/email numerous times to ensure they break it up.
@@RoCDIY Thank You Sir for the info
You really didn't show me a thing
Ok
I permanently fixed that problem! I simply removed the latch assy. from the back if the seat and put it down on the floor at the back of the cab. If the next owner wants it back on the have it to do that.
What’s the name of the bulbs
I don’t have the car anymore. You can look them up though.
Nga will burn your clutch like she did with my Toyota Camry😂
Was this a comment for something else? Not sure your comment has anything to do with my video.
The inside of surround is supposed to go under the cone
It can go either way without any impact. Also, instructions say it can go over or under.
Thanks for the video, this really helps. Curious, any thought on using a medium strength loc tite on the two chipper blades?
No problem. You can use medium strength lock-tite without any issue.
Drilling the bed for the drains? Ummmmmm, no thanks.
To each their own. If you use this cover you will have to drill depending on truck, or bypass and move on to something else.
Mine burnt out after about three weeks after the alarm
That is really surprising to hear. Probably not ideal, but I went almost two years on same bulb. Hopefully, you had a new one (bulb) on stand-by.
messed it up use a brush to apply the glue
Okay. Thanks for the recommendation.
you know if you use a brush and isop it will remove all that glue better
That glue was not coming off with soap and water. Soap and water would damage the cone.
Exact problem I was having. Thanks for this video. Much appreciated.
No problem. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Just like you said
I hope that means it worked out for you like it did in the video.
@@RoCDIY yes it did thank you. Super easy.
How does it sound? You're not supposed to add glue to the whole thing. The surround needs to be flexible and able to move freely. This may drastically change the sound of the driver, and quite possibly put strain on the subwoofer amplifier channel. I
Are you saying this from experience or assuming? I can't compare the past to the present, but I can tell you currently the subwoofer sounds great. I didn't "add glue to the whole thing." The glue that was put on is very flexible. Also, not necessary, the product manufacturer recommended the additional glue for the repair. Look it up.
Glad you’re getting good output. No idea how I came across this video. I build speakers and Tim is correct you don’t want any glue on the surround ring. It’s probably fine for now.
@@hi-filuggage13 I don't know much about speakers. I post my experience to share and gain input. Now, I am really curious why a company would make a recommendation about the glue, but then everyone else says not to do it. They also said the surround ring can go on either side.
@@RoCDIY I think you’re misunderstanding. You need to glue the surround ring in place on the cone and basket, but in the video you put glue on areas you don’t need to. That’s all I’m saying.
@@hi-filuggage13 Nope. I know exactly what you are saying,
dude, this was EXACTLY my problem, you fixed it! thanks!
Awesome. Glad to hear that. Thanks for watching.
Hmm. After watching this im undecided about versatube. Its not surprising that there are several hickups but in the end its just a metal building. If you're handy, and i like to think i am, i can do it. Your enlightenments will help on what to be on the watch for.
Thanks for watching. If you are handy at all you will be able to put it together. Be prepared for frustration. It will definitely all work out in the end.
Great video, terrible design by Ford. Hasn't changed since my '16.
Thanks for watching!
Ouch 20g bottle $45(cad) on Amazon!! Any other options.
Not sure where you are getting the $45 from. It would be $13.47 CAD
Any idea what the rear fold down portion weighs ??
Best guess. 12-15 pounds each.
I didn’t ask for f250 info.
Okay. I didn't give F250 info.
You the man!!!! Great video fixed it after watching you. Thank you so much
No problem. Glad to help out.

Thanks!
Very good video. Thank you.
Thank you for watching and commenting. I hope it helps(ed) you out.
*****UPDATE***** Whatever you do don't go straight up hill with the bags full. The front wheels will come up off the ground, if you don't have a counter balance kit on the front of the lawnmower. The last time I will ever believe a Cub Cadet "expert." "It will not come up off the ground."
Great video 👍🏻
Thank you. I appreciate it. Thanks for watching.
Bypassing..aren’t you bypassing all the stuff you’re trying to filter out into the system that you’re trying to keep clean? I could understand bypassing if your filtration system broke and would be down for a while but, to contaminate it just for a 20min interruption?
That is exactly not what I am doing. There is zero contamination. The video doesn't represent everyone's situation. Not every little thing is in the video because some people want BLUF. In my case, I turn the bypasses on and turn the water off. I also open and leave open the faucet on the top floor and bottom floor. If there is anything it would only be back flow since my house is three stories. The bypass is precautionary. The bypass is not on to use water in the house while the UV light is being changed out. Also, turning on the bypasses and turning off the water reliefs pressure at the UV light, pre and post filters. I have never had water flow through the bypasses while changing a filter or UV light. Note: a bypass is good to have because there have been numerous people who have broken their UV light quartz sleeve and have to wait for a new one. Glass fragments are in the UV light reactor. Without a bypass this could not be isolated from the system.
Thanks for showing this, I had a back broken glass and needed to get the glass cleaned up after the glass was changed.
No problem. Glad to hear that it helped you out.
Thanks From Toronto Canada 🍁 just picked up a nice 2020 its hard to get step out cover issues as well thanks for posting this . Save me some cash thx

No problem. Glad to help out.
Do you know where the date code is on these planers? Thank you.
It is supposed to be on the motor housing.
@@RoCDIY ok. Thank you! I really appreciate it. And thank you for getting back to me so quick.👍
@@bobbybenedict1027 No problem!
Broke the pins lol now what?
You can buy a new bulb housing or you can put some duct tape on it. You can also run short screws in from two sides being careful not to put them where they shouldn't go. Thanks for watching.
You can buy valves that you can calibrate for different release pressure by compressing the internal spring.
Good to know. Thanks for sharing information.
I’ve searched for the answer to this question, and thought maybe you might know. I have a ‘21 XL, in lieu of a step, there is a plastic piece identical in size to the step. Do you happen to know if adding an OEM step is possible? Thank you for your time.
Check out this video...th-cam.com/video/w_01rtaimIg/w-d-xo.html I can't say for sure whether it would require a new tailgate or not. I know the power version would require modules, wire looms, sensors and a switch. The non-power version is/was available for the XL at time of purchase. Look inside the top of the tailgate to see if it has the internals to support the non-power step.
@@RoCDIY Thank you! I appreciate your time.
@@gravitymediapro No problem. Take care.
I have a question ? on mine the steering wheel goes up an down when it’s down doesn’t steer, holding up it will steer do you know what causes that? I would like to know
Without actually seeing the issue it would be difficult to pin-point the issue. With that said, it sounds like the gear at the bottom of the steering column is loose, worn, or disconnected. When you pull up on the steering wheel you may be pulling the gear in to place allowing you to drive.
Clean, I like it. I haven't had any trouble with mine but I can definitely see it happening if I slide stuff more. Thanks for the video
Thanks. I was done dealing with it and had to have a permanent solution. No problems since.
