Yeah in Canada and USA everything bigger is better seems like keep in mind we are hauling 4million Gallons but yeah I've seen those self propelled they look like a great machine

@@backcountryfarmer24 That dinky little applicator/injector hung on the back of the massive tank needs to span at least 40 feet.

So for us we tried going with a dragline and the main issue is we have 2 irrigation canals near our farm and to cross those we need all sorts of permits and a good dragline system to pump 5 to 8 miles gets super expensive we priced everything out we'd be close to $2million for the whole Setup

​@didierfertil6334 so we've done the calculations and our ground contact is so high with so many tires it's no more than a loaded semi truck and plus thanks to the Canadian winter compaction gets taken care of with -40 weather by spring everything is beautiful and soft

The cobbs are still small when we harvest that way the sugar levels are way higher for dairy cattle so we harvest it early

Really good so far they're costumer support is the best weve ever had with any Dealership very friendly helpfull crew. we have to change a few things on our Tanker so we originally ordered our tanker with a hydraulic drive Pump for sending the manure to the injectors so the hydraulic motor was supposed to run at 750 RPM but turns out our 9520 Tractor does not have enough hydraulic flow so we were only getting 350RPm so we have gotten all the parts to switch it to the PTO drive which then we'll get a 1000 RPM easy. And the dealer shipped them right to us. Other than that over all it's great we will put parts on tomorrow hopefully and I'll have a new video on it again soon

@JasonJohnston-lp3vz yeah once you go self propelled you'll never go back and I always say if your cutting hay then 100% you want a massey they are the best one out there we also cut lots of grain with it works great they are the best of both worlds

I'm guessing you do 4 foot wide bales instead of 5 feet

@BenOfficial94 usually 68.5 sometimes it goes to 70 but they usually weigh 1700 to 2000 pounds and we run our tension just below the red line

@backcountryfarmer24 we've been running ours at 70 in dry hay with tension around 2 o clock on the dial type gauge. We don't have scales in our baler is why I asked. We will weigh some soon but have to wait for someone to come with a portable scale.

Ok yeah we feel the higher the density the better for storage. And we actually don't have scales on our baler we felt like we didn’t need that option and it was a couple thousand extra dollars to get it. but usually when we drop a full bale in our feed wagon it's somewhere in the 1850 range.

So yeah the new 2024 561M would be the same as your 2023 560M but the 561R is a special order from factory so it comes with a huge heavy duty upgraded pickup also has automation such as ejection the bale and stopping the tractor by itself and overall built heavier also about a foot taller just to fit that big pickup my new Video on it will be Uploaded at 6:00 am tomorrow stay tuned and watch it tomorrow let me know what you think.

So first of all I use a ballistics calculator and than what I did I just went on my PC and went in to the Paint App and drew a Circle printed a few trials till it was the right size and than I just put all my data in the circle and printed it. hopefully that helps!
