Very awesome video. I'm starting my journey into the world of wholesale emerald dealing and have a trip to Bogota scheduled in 2 months. I would love to communicate a little bit if possible. I'm a little scared of the selling part when I get back to the states. If I could speak with you it would of a great help and you would be helping out a young ambitious entrepreneur. Any form of communication is fine with me. Lmk. Either way... I've watched EVERY single video in English and Spanish on emeralds in Bogota, muzo and cosquez, yours is truly top tier. Thank you.
I am afraid not. If you read the introduction to the video I waited over 12 years before invited by one of the predominate Colombian mine owners. The region for years was plagued by what was called the "Green Wars". It was rumored that drug cartels wanted to take by force many of the mines in order to launder there illicit drug money during the 80's & 90's. It took until 2012 after the passing of Emerald czar Victor Carranza died that his private army was disbanded. Shortly after Colombian state security forces entered and secured the area. I was one of the first Americans to visit the Colombian emeralds mines of Muzo, Chivor, La Pita and Cosquez in over 30 years. I have lived and worked in Colombia for 24 years. 15 of those years was spent developing secure stable emerald purchase relationships before I was invited to the mines to buy rough Colombian emeralds. I hope this helps.
@@MichaelLeal-Loyal_Archangel the video and narration is excellent don't listen to ungrateful people. I have spent the better part of the last 20+ years travelling in Southern Africa searching for gems at different deposits and I totally appreciate and identify with your quest.. greta stuff!!
Possibly. Does UV light show emerald deposits? I do not think it makes a difference since there is no sun light spectrum 1 kilometer inside the mine/mountain.
У первой ноги бляяя кривые А она дура еще и КОСОЛАПИТ специально

before posting a video, you must watch how others made it, professionally. What you wanted to be!!!! Spielberg .....

Its amazing how many people are working and living in these remote locations....awesome video!
Thank you Jay.
wouldn't it be more helpful if the miners use UV lamps in detecting emerald deposits lodged in the deep shale deposits ?
Possibly. Does UV light show emerald deposits? I do not think it makes a difference since there is no sun light spectrum 1 kilometer inside the mine/mountain.
