Licensed therapist Justin Martin breaks down movies and clips using cinema therapy techniques. We process the meaning of certain cinematic masterpieces and help connect how movies can be a used in a therapeutic nature. Movies make us feel and so does therapy, so let's bridge the gap and make moments together one scene at a time.

I watch these all the time so good. Thanks for sharing 😊
10:36 I think I might know why that is… it’s because kids see the parents or someone they know upset and think: did I do something to cause that? Was that my fault? Was the I the cause of it? It’s learned because well- kids are young. They want to be happy, play, and make sure others are happy too
Admittedly, within the context of the story, the revelation that the horse is in fact a Pegasus comes out of nowhere. "The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse" is a emotional roller-coaster of a film. It's visceral visual storytelling; raw and powerful, and I love it for that. I'm glad Justin Martin reacted to the life lesson "Being honest is always interesting." Reminds me of what I value most about myself.
No man.. home is where the heart is.
You totally miss the point of the horse and how people make themselves small, even though they are so wise and accomplished, in order to avoid the hurt of jealousy.
Not sure what undid me the most . The therapist or the movie. Justin’s compassion is just beautiful .
This movie is so beautiful, blessings to all 🙏 ✌️ ❤️
My teacher show me this movie or the short version of it. And it helpt so mush to understand a lot of things what is going on in my head and how I feel.
Merci 😌 Je l'ai découvert hier soir ce merveilleux film d'animation, quel cadeau nous fait l'auteur, c'est inestimable wow 🌟🌟💚💜✨
Like transformation renewing of our minds of the Love of God caring for one another & the evilness that’s in the world we live in. How we handle our thoughts love caring for others even know they act way they act. Transform the love & care plant the seed for another transformation love of God being anew 💞 Beautiful 🥰
My granddaughter gave me this book for Christmas . I just love it . Thanks for sharing your views with us .
Don't bring up Dr Phil. When were watching a learning experience
It's sweet . Their friends. Kindness goes along way.
First, I Love This!! Found you and this clip in IG and came to youtube for the full video. I feel like people underestimate kids by saying they are too young to understand these deep thoughts, feelings, emotions... More truthfully, I believe, is that we have forgotten how because of what the world tells us "growing up" should look like. We lose, or give up, our innocence, our imagination and in some cases the ability, or the desire, to feel these real and deep emotions. Idk... just my morning mind, sharing my opinion. Love you all
So beautiful 🙏I love the quotes, xx ❤️ thank you 🙏 blessings to everyone 🙏

I would love to be able to talk with you in person, but I am an ocean away. You seem so gentle and kind. You must be a wonderful therapist.
Please can we mention Charlie Mackesey, the artist and writer of this beautiful work.
"I think you believe in me, more than I do" My god, that line hit like a freight train.
So glad I found this on Instagram. Thank you for caring. 💜
I need this type of friends. 😢
"we love you.. weather you can fly or not"
I've had a lot of bad luck, stress bereavement too, this last week. And your voice has me nodding off, its so relaxing. I need to download this onto an MP3 but so often there's issues now doing that. thank you x Snooze .....
And yet ..I would choose him as a therapist actualy 😂 I really like the direct way
Have you watched “The man who planted trees? 1987 I recommend watching it twice, the french version in magnificent!
There are very good reasons why this film won BAFTA awards and an Oscar. There are very good reasons why the book helped so many through the pandemic. I have bought and given away at least 10 books to people I felt would respond to the wisdom. Thank you for this. I have seen the film only once. It was wonderful to see these clips again.,
Hi, Does Anyone have link for full movie please share, i tried to find one but i didn't found any
I like the mole, he is such a pleasant character and likes the cake too, Just love it.
What a beautiful way to learn a lesson!
Oof, if you think western culture makes it hard to be vulnerable, spend some time in the east. It gets lonely real fast. I can't believe you held back tears watching this. I cry as soon as I hear the intro music because it's like an 'all okay' signal that it's safe to let yourself out and cry. I'm just trying to stop being the fox, to ask for help, and to let others love me. This book, and then film, really helps serve as that reminder of "the plan." ❤🦊
You are very emotional,
Can you react on inside out
This made me cry. Gonna use this movie as the timer for my breaks at work when I’m having a rough day. One thing jumped out at me when I initially watched this. The boy says they are “we’re trying to find *a* home” not “I’m trying to find *my* home” at first I thought he was just trying to find another person to give him directions or a ride home. But the way he said he wanted to be kind when he grows up, describes what he would CONSIDER a home instead of what his home is like and is so quick to blame himself for falling off the horse and profusely apologizes for crying afterword and doesn’t want to leave when they find the house tells me he might be a runaway just trying to find somewhere safer than where he was before.
Ngl as a new father I cried and instantly thought of the fox and the hound and how that shaped me growing up in the 90's... my son is being raised on the old school values i was raised on. Some of us a still fighting to keep the spirit of of forefathers alive.
I haven't seen the whole movie yet as I don't have Apple TV, but I really appreciated your take on it and showing parts from the movie. This movie is so calming! And beautiful, and profound, and did I mention calming? Tears were shed but a beautiful message.
Where can I find the full movie please?
“I think everyone feels a bit lost sometimes, I know I do” like wowwww 😢😢😢😢 that line hit hard
You have a beautiful friendly face my dear brother
The first times I see this movie I feel to good emotional
I love it! Beautiful film ❤ yes we do need a lot more of this! ❤ We are all kids at heart!! So we can resonate with this....
My daughter, a psychologist by profession, gave me this wonderful book - I always think 'what a priceless gift' - and with growing age, I come to appreciate and love it more and more...🙏♥️🙏💥👌
I LOVE this show! It's so funny and deep!
I love that fox.. feels like he suffered too much in his life.. he need a long tight hug and say I'm here for you.. you can come to me anytime.. you are not alone..
This is a book by Charlie mackesy n it changed my life
Thank you for sharing and for being kind. 🌷
A really underrated line form the film is when the horse says "When the big things seem out of control, focus on what you'll love right under your nose, the storm will pass." That line hit me hard, especially when everything is happening so fast in senior year. Things can be out of control, but focusing on what you love, snd who you love will pass the time and we'll be out of that storm in no time.
What is the bravest thing you ever said? Help. I was out of words and massively tearing up. A reaction this strong is a clear indicator that something buried deep in yourself has been touched.
no one in uk , aus , Italy or beyond has ever thought of this equisitely honest beautifully illustrated with extreme humanity magical it transcends throughout every nation Yet you want to seemingly state the obvious we all share that saying ' neir Lose the child within ' most do not if they've had a fortunate world why does usa over analyse possibly you're Land you inhabit is full of over problematic situations please do not ruin such a 'work of art
