    Some machines have rubber grips which means it's hard to tighten them with regular straps. So i think figure 8 would work better

    Newbie question. I have the 24" Villain Wrist Wraps - Solid Gray. After viewing the video, I realized that I have been wrapping them incorrectly. Basically, I had them reversed and instead of wrapping clockwise toward the loop, I was wrapping counter-clockwise away from the loop. However, when I try to use the correct clockwise method as shown in the video, the wraps are far too loose. Using the wrong method, the stretch of the loop creates tension. Using the right method, the wraps do not stretch, and there is no tension. Any suggestions?

    Does 2mm really make a difference?

    • @tuffwraps
      @tuffwraps ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, Actually its found to make suite a substantial difference. The amount of extra "spring" and compression you can feel in the 7mm compared to the 5mm is really impressive. On the flip side, the 5mm sleeves are much easier to pull on and off because of the thinner more compliant material thickness. Hope that makes sense.

    Is there any where you can add chains to add weight?

    • @tuffwraps
      @tuffwraps ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, im afraid you cant add chains to our lifting belts, but we do offer a dip belt that is designed for adding weight to specifically. THat is not a support belt however, more a tool for training arms on dip bards or adding weight to pull ups.

    I tried these wrist wraps but they just were too soft for my heaviest lifts. I have wrist issues and I really need good support. I also have Grim Reaper and Rogue wraps but these too were also too soft. Good for moderate lifts but for my heaviest lifts I had to buy really stiff wraps, but I won't mention the company. It's made a big difference in my ability to support my bad wrist. Otherwise, these are nice wraps.

    Been lifting since 1987. The thing about lifting belts is that we have a much better understanding of belts and their application these days. We used to believe that belts provided back support, but that has been proven incorrect. The purpose of a belt is strictly to help you brace your core during the lift. With that in mind, your best bet is a soft nylon or softer material for better comfort and flexibility. A belt is not there to replace your back, nor is it there for support, it's strictly helping you brace. That's it

    So in order to shorten it, you can twist the strap up to three times. Until now, this makes sense. Now please explain to me how I twist the other one. You need both hands to twist it, so how is this possible when one hand is already in situ.? TIA

    Is crazy that James smashed the entire field yet he performed quite poorly at Canada's Strongest Man. It tells you a lot about elite strongmen like Maxime (who samshed that competition) and at the same time it also tells you further more about top tier elite strongman like Novikov who just won the Rogue in which Maxime performed really bad. There are many many levels to this sport.
