Sadly here in Canada, we have people from India that net salmon and steelhead in the fall, illegally of course. It is very frustrating to see. Luckily the Ministry of Natural Resources takes it *very* seriously and deals with the situation when reported.

Of course i dont want to come of as a dick but migrants coming through with zero care for local laws and customs is insane. I can't imagine going to another country and just blatantly being an asshat for no other reason than entitlement. Here in NC all the publicly accessible areas of lakes and rivers are covered with the same nonsense and litter. When wildlife comes out most of them dont even have fishing licenses. The officers rarely do anything.

Report all of these morons

Not to sound like a totally asshole but I’ll just speak for what I have found. Every foreign person I’ve met fishing I’d say 95% of them were poaching. Illegally fishing or taking too many or too small. Idk what the deal is with these people and the fish and game regulations.

If anyone were illegally taking fish out of a body of water near me, they better hope law enforcement gets to them before I do.

So what was the outcome? Did you show the video to the warden? Were there any legal actions taken? All the law abiding anglers are getting worked up over this one, myself included.

Im not a fisherman of any sorts but i recall a gook using a line with multiple hooks at a pier in florida for fishing??? Is tht considered snagging. If so I guess thats a culturall thing. I understand its not considered good sportmanship. There culture probaly wouldnt understand tht.

I’m Vietnamese , can def say the fisherman I know , respect the land and law . My boys are raised to pick up all trash and are explained the importance of a license and where the proceeds go to. I’d be just as frustrated witnessing this . Especially the dude throwing his trash .
