ONE DAY IN MILAN VLOG 🇮🇹 Missed Flight to Verona, Exploring Milan, and More!
Ever had travel plans go totally sideways? Well, that's exactly what happened to us on this trip! We were all set to fly to Verona, but we missed our flight! Instead of letting it ruin our day, we hopped on the next plane to Milan, Italy, and turned our unexpected stopover into an unforgettable adventure.
Join us as we explore Milan on a sunny autumn day! We visited the breathtaking Duomo di Milano, Italy’s famous cathedral, and then treated ourselves to delicious gelato at the iconic Vero Gelato. Of course, we couldn’t resist some shopping stops at Sephora and even visited the world-renowned Starbucks Reserve Roastery - trust us, it’s like no Starbucks you’ve ever seen! 🌞🍧🛍️
Our day ended with another little hiccup: our train to Lake Garda was cancelled, so we took a break, enjoyed an Aperol Spritz, and embraced the Italian lifestyle.

I ended up doing a impromptu 4 hour walk from Cockley Beck to The Tarn Hows the week before last, due to my bike chain breaking halfway through a 20 mile cycle ride from Coniston to Seathwaite. Despite having another hour of walking to go and over an hour of driving after that to get home, I couldn't resist stopping for a few minutes when I got as far as Langdale to take a few pictures of the night sky. It's easy to forget just how many stars are visible when there's no light pollution.
We were blown away by the beauty of the area and, of course, all those stars at night! Your 4 hour walk looks like a nice route (thanks to google), we would definitely like to head back and see some more. Did you manage to take pictures of the stars?
