How in the heck can you say if you are disabled you are lucky, think before you speak.

I pull a lot of gold in my hair too. I think my dream of lifting to a level 10 is over. You have to tone on level. I think many of the wella toners are for level 10 hair. You are a 9. Do you get breakage with bleaching your roots like that?

I truly can't believe you are encouraging people to book an accessible room when they don't need it. There are very few accessible rooms on a ship and if you use a wheelchair, that space and the roll in shower are a necessity. We are currently trying to book a cruise and are having a very difficult time finding an accessible room. Shame on you.

It only makes sense that wax is the better option, threading slices the hair at the surface level whereas wax pulls hairs from the roots, making it longer to grow out

This video was very helpful to me. I used to travel on Holland America, my favorite line so far, and my very first cruise ever around 2008 was on the Noordam, and I loved that ship, Caribbean itinerary, and excursions, and sailed on the Noordam a number of times. The ship was not too big, nor too small. The Staff was great. I then tried Princess lines ONCE around 2012 on a 12-day Caribbean cruise and hated it. It was sell, sell, sell, and horrible customer service. Sometimes they just ignored the customers that needed help. They even yelled at me because I had a hat on when I came back to the ship from an excursion. Shocked the heck out of me. I'll never travel with them again. I want to try the Holland America Rotterdam or similar ship. But now I live in the Philippines, and have to fly to the U.S. for a Caribbean cruise. I can handle that, but the hard part is getting a Tourist Visa for my Philippine wife to travel with me for the Cruise. Not successful so far.

Thanks so much for your videos on Holland American. We are new to cruising and have learned so much for our Nieuw Amsterdam trip. We are already thinking about a next trip and were wondering about the Fort Lauderdale port. Do you know a hotel to stay at the night before. We live near Atlanta too and considering driving down and having a little time in Florida too.

Thanks for the video! I am interested since there are not a lot of curved keyboards that are non-splitted and without a gap in the middle, and Logitech has good reputation. One important question, in case you know: can you use just the keyboard and use a different logitech (mx vertical model) wireless mouse connected to other usb port, or will it interfere/has any issues? I am a person with disabilities and, while I can understand your statement that the rooms are larger, I cannot understand why you would say that we are "lucky"!! Firstly, I'd happily turn in my disabled status to have the freedoms you able-bodied people enjoy. I have been a Nurse's Aide and Special Needs Educator for many years and am appalled that you would say this! You appear to be speaking without a plan but I implore you to think before you speak. Most persons with disabilities frown upon the term handicapped as we find it to be offensive. This term says we should be striving to overcome our differences and/or difficulties and, therefore, deems us as lower-class citizens. While that may be the case in some parts of the world, it shouldn't be! Ok.. Stepping off my soapbox now- Not all accessible rooms are larger. I am currently on board the Eurodam in room 1069. While it is designated as Fully Accessible (there is also a category for Ambulatory Accessible with some differences), my roommate and I have found it to be much smaller than any other Fully Accessible stateroom we've been in and, indeed, even seen aboard HAL. Our neighbouring stateroom is not accessible but, despite being in the same category, it is larger in total square footage. It would be a far better an option for me, with my small portable wheelchair, except for the fact that it doesn't have a wider door.

I have a 5 month old shishon named Benny and I will say this video is very accurate to his temperament as well and most characteristics online have held true! He has tons of energy, is very smart and trainable and loves to play and could play for as long as I’d play with him and walk as much as I’d let him. He’s so social with humans and loves other dogs. Couldn’t have asked for a better breed. I will note that I do leave him for a regular 9-5 (sometimes longer) but he was litter box trained and puppy pad trained when I got him and I walk him in the morning and evening during the week and more during weekends, if I have no one to come play with him or let him out mid day. I put a ring camera to watch him throughout the day and he was absolutely fine due to easing him into being occasionally alone at 10 weeks for 30 mins and increasing it by 30 mins to an hour. I had a sitter for him until he was 3 and a half months old when at work but when I moved he had to be alone and was fine as he had been trained to use the bathroom and was ok also being alone. I also do not leave him in the crate but shut all doors so he has access to only living room and kitchen. I leave the TV on since he is so social and he watches it! He will usually take short naps and play with himself and explore but does not destroy furniture or eat cords but I know that’s a concern for some owners. Something that helped is I would make puzzle treats when I would leave and this would keep him occupied as well as self moving toys. He did whine the first few days and I’d come home on my lunch but leaving again made it worse so now he’s a trooper and keeps himself busy and doesn’t care when I leave 😂 I know I had so much guilt but coming home and making sure he eats has a good walk and plenty of play time and cuddles is our routine and he was fine. Don’t let that hold you back from this amazing breed! This little guy in the video is adorable and looks like my Benny but with reversed coloring! He’s apricot and has white accents. Thank you for sharing!

T28 is a TONER !! It goes gold as it fades gradual back to the brass it’s designed to neutralize. Also I’ve used WELLA TONERS in salon … smell it 😳it has same active ingredient that ALL tints & toners do, smells like ammonia right!! Not better. If you wanna diy go for it but slamming PROFESSIONALS is an unnecessary ignorant response.

The one at Dillard’s is the older model without the magnets for the buckles. With it being an older model it could be the expiration date on the item that’s making it cheaper since it’s based off the manufacturer date.

Disagree~~Orange Club is totally worth it and I always require this when booking with HAL....The perks between disembarking, embarking, tenders, dining and room service was SO worth the cost!! You don't know what your talking about, and most people agree it is worth it.

Every dog has a different personality. Mine won't walk. I'm trying to get her to walk beside me. Mines very jumpy . Luvs people and scared of big dogs.

Lucky us for being handicapped? Are you nuts? We had to book 3 years in advance because those rooms are next to impossible to book, and it's never "lucky" to have to use a wheelchair.

Think your comments are way off base and saying CO is not worth it is wrong. We booked 4 upcoming HAL cruises and had upgraded balcony rooms on all. At the minimum the CO benefits were 'free' when looking at the respective cabin upgrade. Based on your comments, the CO rest. (on Pinnacle Class) is inferior to MDR. I find it hard to believe that suite passengers would accept this disparity. You also made it sound as if it was easy to book a prime (ie. window) table in MDR- never found this task easy. On an earlier video you said to avoid all cabins in the front of the ship- we've been on a bunch of HAL cruises where we enjoyed these cabins with their relative quiet. You don't point out that CO is less on cruises of 14 days or over which can make the relative fare savings even greater. We frankly would not do a Pinnacle class HAL cruise without CO.

You have no idea what you're talking about! I LOVED having the Club Orange, and the benefits definitely outweigh not having it. I personally witnessed so many people standing in line and I also loved the expanded specialty menu. For example, I can say that having to leave the cabin in the mornings to get salmon and fresh berries is a hassle if you just want to wake up and get the expanded menu delivered to your room anytime without having to walk out. I can see that you are not a Foodie and don't know what specialty dining is. I will never not travel without getting the Club Orange and this video is not accurate or credible. Your portrait in this video leaves you seem jealous of people who have the Club Orange.

A few years ago we cruised on Holland America to Alaska. Our travel agent suggested a rear facing stateroom. That way we could view the various glaciers that were on either side of the ship. She was right. We had a great view all the time - regardless of direction. We did hear a little more water sounds whenever we were under way. But they were relaxing for us. If we can, we will reserve a rear facing stateroom again on our next cruise.
