CAVITEX MILESTONE EVENTS SDE 21JUNE2024
June 21, 2024 - Today marks a significant milestone in the ongoing development of the country’s infrastructure projects as President Bongbong Marcos presides over three major events for the Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway Project (CAVITEX). These activities included the groundbreaking ceremony of the CAVITEX-CALAX Link, the groundbreaking of CAVITEX C5 Link Segment 3B, and the inauguration of the CAVITEX C5 Link Sucat Interchange (Segment 2). These projects, undertaken by Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), the infrastructure arm of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC), through its subsidiary Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation in partnership with the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA), mark a significant step towards improving connectivity and fostering economic growth between Region IV-A and NCR.

Looking ahead, CALAX will further expand to a total of 45 kilometers and will feature eight interchanges: Technopark, Laguna Boulevard, Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road, Silang East, Silang (Aguinaldo), Governor's Drive, Open Canal, and Kawit Interchange. CALAX will eventually connect to the Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) in Kawit, uniting key regions seamlessly.

With the rate of construction it will take six years to finish this, it was started 2017 and in 2019 they just finished the 10km part this is a 45km expressway.

Suggestion: some portions are out of focus
C5 Southlink Cavitex link is so up to now a pipe dream, the squatters portion are still constricting the 4 lane to two lane with large potholes and slows down traffic to a stop. I don't advise motorists to drive through Kaingin Road section, they'll be stuck in traffic, same as going eastbound from Parañaque to Taguig.
How about the idea of planting tress and ornamentals beside all super hiways? To gain tress uprooted during the development. If you noticed sa capital international airport in Beijing na may mga small tress sa gilid hindi naman obstruction sa palagay ko mga medium size na puno hindi masyadong lumalaki line ipil ipil, narra or yakal kasi acasia ay mabilis lumaki.
