Thank you for sharing, I received the En Plein Air a few years ago as a gift I did not get a chance to use it.. I just pulled it out of the closet and could not remember the setup. Found your video and it helped me get back into the Plein Air world🌎😉

Great pencils have been using them at least 30years they are more affordable than the Derwent brands years ago Derwent wear cheaper than other brands now there the most expensive pencils on the market.

My mom had a set of 60 Faber Castell in her youth that she didn't used too much and gave them to me. Those pencils are at least 25 years old. They work as well as the new ones I bought some years ago. The quality doesn't change overtime! They are kinda greazy? Sort of. The appropriate word in english for 'fat enough to glide over the paper like bosses'. Made me fall in love with pencils all over again! It works better with layering progressively, as I learned after aggressively putting colors and then wondering why it had trouble blending lol Haven't tested them with water yet, through I might.

My dad got these for my mum over 30 years ago and they still work perfectly :)

What I really love about the Albrecht Durer is that dry they are the same color as the Polychromos, or nearly so. And they're a bit softer than the Polychromos. Thus, I bought a small set of Polys and the full set of Durers and I'm pleased as punch.

I’m a baby with colored pencils but splurged on a Black Friday sale and got the Polychromos… and the Albrecht Durers… 😅. As an artist I prefer to start off with quality supplies to get the best experience and I haven’t been disappointed, these pencils feel great. Fun fact: Faber Castell was the first company to create a modern colored pencil back in the early 1900s

I love the pencils, but was very disappointed with the plastic trays. The little elastic handles started pulling out immediately. Also, please share where you got your plastic storage.

The secret of Polychromos is layering. More layers with a light hand for deeper color.

Your channel popped up on my TH-cam feed. I just subscribed. Perhaps if you color on watercolor paper that is hot pressed it is a smoother texture paper and you will not get the white shadow.
