This series was fine at first, until you realised that "Quincy" used to come out with the same line EVERY episode... "Im try'na save somebody's LIFE here!" There seemed to be more "suspicious circumstances" to these autopsies every week than any other location in continental North America, and "Quincy" seemed to be under the distinct impression that he was running a private investigation agency rather than sticking to his narrow area of official responsibility.

They never talked about Opie's biological mother. She never was spoken about in the show.

I used to watch Quincy when I was 15. I learned early on to make sure I didn't watch the preview at the beginning. It would give away the plot twist nearly every time. Ridiculous. I loved Quincy mainly because of Klugman.

BTW - Goldfinger, for all it's faults, provided one of the most comically "Bond moments" of all time. When M takes surprise by the brandy they're drinking after dinner, being described as disappointing, and saying, "What's the matter with it?"
