hi sophia, thankyou so much for watching me🤍im glad me being open about my breakup helped you abit. it’s good that ur acknowledging ur feelings & trying to see a way forwards first of all, it’s really brave. the thing is, everyone heals at different stages, boys have a tendency to move on really quick and get in rebounds because they want to avoid their feelings and they can’t deal with the emotions that come with a breakup (typically), girls tend to feel it first and then end up happier & healthier, that’s most of the time anyway. so don’t compare you moving on to how quickly he is, the likelihood is he will still care for you & just because he’s with someone else doesn’t mean he doesn’t still miss you, it’s just filling a void and an easier way to move on. my ex is with someone else too i think, obviously it’s a tricky one because even if you are moved on/over your ex it’s never nice to see or hear about them with another girl, so you need to block him/her if you have them still on stuff, so then you aren’t seeing it, trust me, if you go looking you’re gonna find things that are gonna hurt you even more and you probably won’t like what you see. you can only move on if you actually want to, but it’s fine if you aren’t ready to yet. i had to accept that just because they’re with someone else, doesn’t mean your relationship is disregarded also they do act that way, and it does matter, you can’t compare yourself to her because you’re two different people, and she probably isn’t better, she’s probably easier and like I say it’s filling that void. they may be better suited, but that doesn’t take away your value, sometimes things just aren’t meant to be. you will move on, I promise, life has to go on with or without someone, if you aren’t in the mindset to let him go get there’s no rush, he doesn’t get the power or control of the timeline of things, it took me a while to grasp that because my ex was moved on virtually the next day, & at the time I couldn’t understand it, but don’t drive yourself insane trying to, because you’re searching for answers you won’t get from him. in terms of me meeting someone else, it took me a while to feel that way again, and even then it did feel strange being with someone else. i tried not to compare it, but just because i met someone new doesn’t mean i threw away all them memories with my ex, but if you live your life looking backwards you can’t move forwards. it took me nearly a year to meet someone who i actually liked although he turned out to be an arse also! so you don’t need to worry about that rn. there’s no real rush for a relationship, spend some time with you and learn things about yourself, being young & single is the only time you’re really gonna discover who you truly are. keep going & keep your head up, you’ll get through this I promise. lots of love & a sending you a big cuddle 🤍🤍🤍
